* New * Gameplay Issue CLIPS to send to EA

The EA NHL Gameplay Devs would like us to start grabbing clips of "issues"


1.) Goalie cover up

2.) Pass receptions slowing or stopping your guy

3.) Auto knock downs or bats or saucer passes or clears when facing the wrong way or turned backwards

4.) Player falling without being hit, losing edge or being taken out

5.) Dekes not being completed. Not picking puck back up when you should or deke not working when in good position

6.) RB button push puck ahead doped boost, they're testing if it speeds you up or is just something the community does or tells people it does like the LT speed boost from 19 which apparently didn't soeedy you up more than a straight line or hustle would, just changed angles and maintained speed from it (lol)

7.) Any other things you guys think might not work correct, be broken, happening bc of a bug or just need fixed/tuned

This is why people test the game...

 

They test the game at their office. We have dudes on here with over 1,000 hours played. We see way more things then they see testing

 

I could test the game for 5 mins at Walmart and notice the goalie cover glitch.

I'll just go ahead and record a full game cuz the whole thing is a bug. NHL 17 is superior.

 

i don't think video will fix them making a great game we done that before nothing change it still the same.

 

We should probably fix that behind the net glitch, @D4D USA you still have the clip?

Then they're not playing the same version of the game as everyone else, simple as that. And if it doesn't happen on 'their' machines, then release that version of the game because we don't want it either.

 

lol that's not what that means, that just means they cant recreate it. How many times does it even happen, maybe once a night in like 10 games. If anyone figures out how to create it, maybe aiming 5 hole, goalie being in butterfly, then we can let them know so they can try to recreate it. Unfortunately, it seems its a pretty random occurrence that depends on a number of factors, which is why they are having a hard time recreating it. Before they attempted to fix it last patch it was occurring at a much higher clip, so they were able to recreate it. They are aware of it, theyre just unable to recreate it to determine what is causing it and how to fix it (coding wise)

 

Are they playing 6s or just versing a computer because the computer doesnt have problems freezing the puck

 

Id assume 6s since he has said they play all the time.

Heres an option in general. Every game should be recorded from here on out and any goal that goes in due to the goalie not covering issue should not count.

For the cover-up glitch, the common reoccurrence is the fact that it's always your own teammate that puts it in, never the other team. If you look closely at every cover-up glitch that ends up in a goal, one of the teammates slams his stick (because of own goal). I don't really care if they can't entirely fix the glitch, but if they can make it so teammates can't put it in some way (which is the only common theme I've seen) then I'm happy.

Hopefully, my pain and misery helps in some way.

 

EA should... Just reset everything back to the BETA tuners/settings and leave the game how it is come release dates it's how it should be

 

That's not true tasty lol, I've seen the other team score from poking, it's not always ur own team.

Edit: beta was disgustingly fun . Fwds slightly op but fuck it goalie was still fun.
