no, I get the point of the video its that people try to offend by everything and make reaches when you haven't even done anything. it's funny sure but has nothing to do with what I'm saying really

 

Has to do enough, as you mention derogatory towards specific communities such as LGBTQ, and derogatory terms can be subjective. I understand it can be difficult to sense tone over the internet, but to me tone is everything and if we just start banning people for saying words that can be offensive to people, eventually we won't be able to say anything. Such as my mans in the video who can't even address a crowd.

 

I think it's pretty easy to say what words shouldn't be used and I could easily give you a full list of them I just don't want to be banned for posting them on here. plus I'm sure all of the words I would put on this list would be in full agreement not to use because they are all in awful taste don't matter the tone

You article just goes to show how hypocritical this whole thing is. If you want to put an end to the usage of the word, using it in pop culture ain't going to do that. Calling each other that ain't going to help either. But YOU do. Which desensitizes the word whether you like it or not.

I don't want to use it. I just think it's hilarious for what you like to call YOUR people saying it's okay for them to use it and to complain when others do. The fact they use it so much that it's a part of pop culture is the main reason it's still being used as much. Literally "your" people's own fault.

So yes I will speak my mind when I see people crying on the internet when they see the word and try and get people banned off a site for using it.

I don't like anyone using it but it's worse when nonblack people (especially white) use it because of the history behind the word it's really not hard to understand. there is NO reason the word should be used on this site at all because of history and meaning especially when u consider that 95 percent of this site probably isnt poc.

 

Again if this was a part of history "your people" were truly trying to leave behind, they would leave the word behind as well. But by themselves using it profusely, it's becoming less and less of a sensitive word.
