Hey I’m from Toronto and my ping has been awful this last month. I am on LAN running 70+ ping every game and I have 2 gig download internet. I have no clue what to do can someone help.

What do you mean you're on LAN running 70 ping? You mean you're wired and still running 70 ping? Also your download speed has nothing to do with ping. Contact your ISP, it's probably on their end.

Your word choice isn't even off, he just doesn't know what LAN means because Fortnite players use it to refer to tournaments where they're all in the same room. Dudes name is @FrenchMoron for a reason. When you go to setup your connection on your PSN, your 2 options are even Wi-Fi and LAN cable. It just means a Local Area Network aka you're hardwired. As for your dogshit internet, you might just be getting the short end of the stick during corona-times. I'm assuming you have Fibre-Op internet but you might not have FTTH (Fibre to the Home) aka the Fibre Optic cables might not run directly into your house and instead go to a shared node (FTTN). So you could be drawing your connection through the same node as everyone on your street/in your neighbourhood. Seeing as everyone and their mother is at home right now sitting there on the internet, you're probably not getting the same strong connection you were a few months back.
