*Please note, this is not the contracts I value as the worst. This is the 21 highest contract post-bidding. I only included players who received a contract of $6,000,000 or more* 1. @Stifmeister x 7 $12,000,000 (LW) // Stif was the highest-paid player in S35 bidding, originally bid on by @LAZYKIDZinGA of the St. Louis Blues looking for top-end scoring. He enjoyed a successful 6 weeks in St. Louis playing alongside @Rivzter totaling a 12-5-1 record, and leading the art ross race with 70 points. After week 6 however, Lazy decided it was time to blow the team up with them falling behind in the wild card race. He was ultimately traded to the New York Islanders in a 4 for 4 trade, only to then be shipped without playing a game, to the Calgary Flames. With the Flames close to a wild card spot, they figured Stif would push them over the hill, but they were wrong. Stif amassed a 5-4-1 record with 27 points, and the team failed to make the playoffs. Season Stats: 17-9-2 (97P - 59G - 38A - +28) Total: $705,882 / Win Playoffs: No 2. @Gabseh $10,000,000 (LW) Gabseh returned to the Canadiens for the 4th straight season, but for the first time via bidding and the first time under new management. He was immediately penciled into the top line with @Duukk & @xXDR3AMK1LL3RXx and expected to be the driving force. This was a high risk for someone who is not often seen outside of playing with the Underdogs group, but it paid off, and it paid off well. Gabseh was the only skater to reach 20 wins on the team, and lead them in points. He was a large part of the team's late push into the playoffs. Season Stats: 20-4-2 (86P - 37G - 49A - +59) Total: $500,000 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 3rd in the Atlantic 3. @McFleuryyy $9,500,000 (C/RW) / Fleury's bid was originally won by the Philadelphia Flyers by @l3l Ray l8l who was his pAGM last season. Like the 2 noted before him, he was immediately penciled into the top line. Expected to continue the momentum from last season with @Whiisky x on his line once again, they never quite lived up to the weight on their shoulders for Phile, as Fleury totaled an 8-5-2 record with 38 points. He was shipped after week 5 to the Winnipeg Jets in a trade for @NoThumbSweatyAF & @Coach x 19. Once he got to Winnipeg he was no longer expected to carry a team into the playoffs and was able to play his game. His stats remained consistent with the ones before the trade, as he went 7-3-1 for 22 points. He helped an already stacked offense get even better finishing 5th on the team in points, and seeing his team finish 2nd in the central. (Fun fact, Phile turned it up after the trade and made their way into the 1st wild card spot) Season Stats: 15-8-3 (60P - 33G - 27A - +13) Total: $633,333 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 2nd in the Central 4. @F0G 19 $9,000,000 Quit without playing a game because his backpack was banned prior to the season. s. Season Stats: F0G 19 has been issued a 2 Season Ban in Season 35 of the LGHL 2 months ago Total: $9,000,000 / LG PM Playoffs: No 5. @R0tes $9,000,000 (C) Rotes was won by the @Wesley Snip3zzz and the Maple Leafs, expected to suit up on the first line with @DDW4. After success in ESHL with resilience, and being apart of the Edmonton Oilers God squad 2 seasons ago, it was reasonable to assume Rotes was one of the top C's on many bidding boards. Unfortunately for the Leafs, the top line never gelled and Rotes has played with multiple linemates throughout the season. Season Stats: 12-12-2 (48P - 21G - 27A - -5) Total: $750,000 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 2nd Wildcard 6. @LaFleuR11 $9,000,000 (RD) / LaFleuR has amassed a 125-39 record on PSN, and is a highly respected RD on that console. Finally deciding to bring his talent over to Xbox, his bid was won by @DaYoungBuck of the New York Islanders. Maybe not where he wanted to start his Xbox career. The team never really had a top line, so he was playing with multiple linemates during his 6-week stay on long island. He had a lousy 7-10-1 record during that 6-week span, and a total of 19 points and a -2 rating, not what you expect from your 9 million dollar man. After week 6 however, he was traded to Phile and really turned a corner, going 6-1-1 for the Flyers and helping the across the line and into the playoffs. He is now a major factor on this team, and hopes to continue the momentum into playoffs. Season Stats: 13-11-2 (27P - 3G - 24A - +1) Total: $692,307 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 1st Wildcard 7. @cj142 $8,500,000 (RD) /// This guy can't catch a break, he's been in bidding 3 times in 16 seasons, and has gone 8.5M both times he signed up at D, and 12.25 his one time at forward despite his stats taking quite the dip since S30. He was screwed early with his bid won by Vegas, who had no top line, and like LaFleur was obligated to play with a few different linemates throughout his time there. Luckily, he only lasted 2 weeks on Vegas going 2-3-1 with a -2 rating and 2 points. Unluckily tho, he was on Calgary for 2 days and didn't play a single game before he ended up on the Rangers, where he played a total of 1 week going 0-3 with a -6 rating and 0 points. His fourth and final destination of the season was LA, where he started off bad going 4-7-1, before turning it around in the final 2 weeks finishing 5-0-1 in that time. Even though he was traded 3 times, not once did CJ end up on a playoff team, and only got to play for 3 of the worst 8 teams in the league. Season Stats: 11-13-3 (22P - 2G - 20A - -10) Total: $772,727 / Win Playoffs: No 8. @Paradis7117 $8,000,000 (LD) // Another high-end PSNer making the jump this season was Paradis. Unfortunately for him, he ended up going for 8 million to the Rangers. Although the Rangers never had a real top line, Paradis came out of the gate flying, going 4-1-1 with 4 points. But then for some reason, he was traded to Calgary, where he went 2-1 but then again was traded. He was 6-2-1 and had already been traded twice in the first 3 weeks. Not easy to build chem going to a new team each week, he landed on Dallas where he went 9-6-2 with 14 points. Unfortunately for him, his 1st season on Xbox did not go as planned, and he played all 9 weeks on 3 non-playoff teams. Stats wise, it was a solid season (outside of his +/-) and leads me to believe if he comes back next season we can better results Season Stats: 15-8-3 (19P - 1G - 18A - -12) Total: $533,333 Playoffs: No 9. @Xx LoL xX 9 $8,000,000 (C) // LoL has been around for ages, and was lucky enough to come out of bidding on one of the projected top teams in the league. Unfortunately, they only gave him 1 week on the roster. After going 1-1-1 for the Jets, he was shipped to LA in a 2for2, only to be moved 9 hours later to the Flyers in a 3for3. He played a consistently average season for Phile, and ended up taking the free contract around week 6 when HDC was banned. He went 10-9-2 for the Flyers with 48 points, not exactly what you expect of an 8 million dollar man. Like many others on this list though, he did not have a consistent line all season, and was mix and matched with players for a few times this season. Once LoL did take over as GM, however, the Flyers saw a resurgence of life, and made a late push into the playoffs. Season Stats: 11-10-3 (52P - 28G - 24P - -11) Total: $727,272 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 1st Wildcard. 10. @JerDubzz $7,750,000 (LD) // JerDubz is one of the more versatile players, he is elite at forward and at defense and apparently G as well? Dubz stepped down as Washington owner to enter bidding as a D this season, his bid was won by @Duncan Queeef and the Dallas Stars. Dubz got off to a bad start, amazing a 1-2-3 record for the Stars, but 4 of those 6 games were 1 goal games. He was shipped after week 2 to Calgary for Paradis, and began the turnaround, going 8-4 for the flames with 19 points and a +3 rating. Ultimately tho, trade lover @Dangs92 moved him to the Blackhawks for Vape, and Dubz took off running for the Hawks. He went 7-2 over the final 3 weeks with a +11 rating, the Hawks were already a cup favorite with Vape on the team, so I won't say Dubz helped their already insane top 4, but him being a LD definitely didn't hurt it. Season Stats: 18-6-3 (28P - 2G - 26A - +9) Total: $430,555 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 1st in Central Other Notable High Contracts: @sh4rpshooterrr $7,500,000 (LW) Season Stats: 19-6-3 (75P - 34G - 41A - +24) Total: $394,736 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 2nd in Pacific @Wickie 71 $7,500,000 (C) / Season Stats: 11-6-1 (27P - 13G - 14A - +2) Total: $681,818 / Win Playoffs: No @Ethan x 97 $7,500,000 (RW) // Season Stats: 12-10-1 (43P - 19G - 24A - +1) Total: $625,000 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 1st in Central @Desyd19 $6,750,000 (RD) // Season Stats: 14-7-1 (19P - 1G - 18A - +27) Total: $482,142 / Win Playoffs: No @Kxv 97 $6,750,000 (LW) Season Stats: 11-12-4 (64P - 31G - 33A - -14) Total: $613,636 / Win Playoffs: No @Koho $6,250,000 (LW) Season Stats: 19-5-4 (59P - 28G - 31A - +11) Total: $328,947 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 1st in Wildcard @SkillzZy_x92x $6,250,000 (C) Season Stats: 9-11-1 (35P - 15G - 20A - -1) Total: $694,444 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 3rd in Metro @MxnsteR 95 $6,000,000 (C) // Season Stats: 11-9-3 (41P - 12G - 29A - -10) Total: $545,454 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 3rd in Central @Tb ToXiC $6,000,000 (C) /// Season Stats: 10-11-3 (55P - 25G - 30A - -8) Total: $600,000 / Win Playoffs: No @Melvin x 94 $6,000,000 (LD) / Season Stats: 17-7-4 (37P - 1G - 36A - +12) Total: $352,941 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 2nd in Wildcard @Rehanek $6,000,000 (LW) // Season Stats: 9-3-1 (29P - 13G - 16A - +14) Total: $666,666 / Win Playoffs: No @Remi l9l $6,000,000 (C) / Season Stats: 18-7-2 (78P - 29G - 49A - +38) Total: $333,333 / Win Playoffs: Yes, 1st in Pacific Stats worth noting (Not including those who were banned) Most Expensive: @cj142 ($772,727 / Win) Least Expensive: @Koho ($328,947 / Win) Most Wins: @Gabseh (20 Wins) *Only player with 20 wins* Least Wins: @SkillzZy_x92x (9 Wins) Average Record: 15-10-3 Most Traded: @cj142 ///) & @Tb ToXiC ///) Total Trades: 27 Amount of Players who played for only 1 team: 7/19 Players Playoffs: 13/19
It literally shows exactly what Ive preached for years and everyone disagreed. When you play for bad teams even good players don't look good. Not a hard concept
There is too many players who go cheap in bidding, as well it'd be hard considering many are send downs. But don't worry Lord Daqs, your 21 win season on 750k will no go unnoticed.
