Apology

I'm sorry to anybody who I've had any toxic interaction with.. that's how I'd like to start this.

I had a great chance last season to prove myself and wanted to publicly thank those who were with me and know the real me. I take this league seriously and at times have made enemies.. I've carried a arrogant, bad attitude that although I've dropped still looms on my reputation.

It's the fact that ultimately I love this community and every single person I've met along the way. The fact that I let my ego in front of making friends and being apart of. This bidding has been sobering for me and a reality check that you cannot rest on anything and even here you have to work everyday to get the chances.

I consider my career successful but only on the ice.. I need to be a better person and I can't reset things and would rather apologize.

If you know me and we are friends.. know I appreciate you and thank you for being apart of this awesome journey here.

If you see this and we've ever had any toxic interaction, know I'm genuinely sorry and ashamed with how I've carried myself. It's been detrimental and something I've always worked on. I know my skill often gets overlooked because respect is two ways; I hope to earn yours back.

Thanks Clutch honestly the way you carry yourself is something I've tried to model myself after.. you went 26-1-4 because you put in the work and have the mix of great talent, you deserve the chance you have ahead of yourself and I couldn't be more confident in you to become a star in the AHL. You are a great friend and someone who I enjoy playing NHL with because you always make the extra pass or are in the right spot to finish a goal. We've had some memories and I'm appreciative for that. Best of luck I'll be cheering for you every step of the way and hopefully we get the chance to compete.. Thank you for taking the time my guy.

Robo, I would hope you already know how much I respect you.. but I'll say it every time I'd take you over most NHL Defense, you are a stud on defense and deserve massive credit. You are a class act on and off the ice and it always means a lot and is appreciated. You've taught me some things about relaxing and enjoying NHL while playing it at a super high level. Anytime we've spent together in LG isn't taken for granted.

Good on you for addressing the situation. Not many in this league have yet to develop the hair on their balls to do so. Arrogance is a trait that can be used as a positive, as well as a deterrent. If the tool is used correctly, the outcome will be the same. I’ve never thought you were a bad person, but do think the attitude you carried helped build the perception of you. You’ve got work to put into changing that perception. You can have the best thumbs in the game, but need the entire 18 to win a ship. Best of luck Tes. I believe you can turn things around buddy

 

Go rip it up in the CHL this season and you will be back in the AHL in no time.
