Season 23 Week 2 Power Rankings

1. Miami Heat (9-3) Previous Rank: 2

The Miami Heat, led by @Flems506 and @xRICKOSHAY, are at it again. They have overtaken the top spot in the Power Rankings. Even with a tough loss to the Grizzlies, the game was close and competitive. @TC x Avi is shining in his time with the organization and is now averaging 19.5PPG, 3.5ASTS, 72.9 FG% with a personal 5-1 record. These fellas have now become THE favorites to win it all. Another dynasty in the making? We will find out soon enough.

2. Atlanta Hawks (9-3) Previous Rank: 1

The Hawks had another great week overall. Although enduring losses to the Grizzlies and Blazers, no one is taking this team lightly. This team has tons of talent on lines 1A-1B, but looks as though they lack chemistry on the floor with a few players on the team. They will need to get the issues fixed so they can remain in this position and really push for a title. While still being favorites, fine tuning never hurt anyone. These guys will be in the Eastern Conference Finals. Stay locked in boys, its a long season.

3. Los Angeles Lakers (9-3) Previous Rank: N/A

The LA Lakers continued their strong start and are 3 games in front of the next best team in their conference. The chemistry and continuity on this team is shining brightly and shows that hard work pays off. @Dats xx has taken a true step forward and is now averaging 21.8PPG and 8.8ASTS while shooting 66.7 FG%. @O Yea i ISO has also made great contributions to the team. This team is sneaky good although people are STILL writing them off after two weeks of stellar play. They will be a mainstay at this position and look to be headed to the Western Conference Finals.

4. Memphis Grizzlies (6-6) Previous Rank: 6

Yes @D Andoo99 ! Thats how you hoop! These boys came into this week locked in and it showed. The 1st line for this team beat the #1 and #2 teams in the Power Rankings and justified their positioning in these rankings. @th4 x w4ll showed why he's the best lock in the league and contributed big. @Selfmademannyy was also able to finally get his 1st win on the 2nd line. If this team starts clicking on all cylinders, they could be a force. As bad as last week was for them, this week was just as good. Lets not get too high or too low on this team, but they're officially a team to be reckoned with.

5. Philadelphia 76ers (7-5) Previous Rank: 4

The 76ers looked dead in the water after a trade was reversed to send @Advanced Zap back to the Toronto Raptors. However, being the resilient bunch that they are, they were able to patch some holes and still look to be a top 3 team in the East. @Flyyset was deemed a sleeper coming into the season, but that was without knowledge that he could play PG. That officially makes this kid a STEAL! He essentially saved the Sixers season, and they still look to be in solid shape overall. While only having a 3-3 week, the league expects them to be in the mix with what they have on the roster. Buckle up!

6. New Orleans Pelicans (6-6) Previous Rank: 8

The Pelicans look to have rebounded a bit after their slow start. @xVenom OF has officially hit legend and was able to play his games this week with an extra 40 badge points. Thats absolutely nutty. He put up monstrous numbers, though against sub-par competition. The 2nd line is still struggling but look to be slowly finding their groove. Now in the hunt for a playoff spot, this is not a team you would like to face in a best of 5 series. They will be a tough out.

7. Indiana Pacers (8-4) Previous Rank: 12

Wow @STG BEAST . Looks like you'll be doing more than just "sneaking" into the playoffs. This team just put up a 5-1 week and are now 3rd in the conference. Their depth is showing and has helped them become one of the better teams in the LGBA. @STG BEAST - @Mpls Pat - @Better Clutch are all leading the way for this organization with key contributions also coming from @Hotpants vF and @Uncle No Legs . Sleep on these guys ? No can do. They've proven what they can accomplish.

8. Oklahoma City Thunder (6-6) Previous Rank: N/A

@HBB Rise and his OKC Thunder have had an up and down last few weeks. The roster is obliterated and rebuilt, they go 4-2 Week 1, then go 2-4 Week 2. This is to be expected from a team that had a makeover from head to toe. As long as they stay steady, they're expected to hover around .500 and possibly lock down a spot in the playoffs. That'll be an accomplishment in itself and most around the league would consider that a successful season.

9. New York Knicks (7-5) Previous Rank: 14

Remember what I said last week? "They've stayed competitive in plenty of games during week 1, but didnt have enough to get over the hump in several of those situations." @FREE MEL0 and the New York Knicks won those situational games. ALL OF THEM. They were the only team to go 6-0 this week and in actuality, the only team to go 6-0 in a week so far this season. Acquired from the Hawks, MobTiesJB put up HUGE numbers, averaging 16.3PPG and 13.3ASTS. Watch out LGBA, here come the Knicks.

10. Minnesota T-Wolves (4-8) Previous Rank: 5

Honestly, what is to be said about this team? They have the pieces to be successful but it looks as though the pieces arent meshing. They have @lts Froggy putting up massive numbers but holding an 0-6 personal record. @BWitt x 14 is still putting up MVP-type numbers and @Torched Xans is having a career season. What's missing? These boys need to get in the lab and get right. Too much talent on this team to be this far down in the standings.

11. Portland Trail Blazers (5-7) Previous Rank: 10

@axemurderer29 and his Blazers continue to surprise people. The PGs from this squad are still playing out of their minds. Although they had a 2-4 week, @KhoreyHouks and @Rainy iPM are both averaging 30+ PPG and the role players are doing their jobs. No one saw this coming from this team but here they are. And it doesnt look as if they're going anywhere.

12. Washington Wizards (5-7) Previous Rank: 11

@Murda Dreams and his Wizards come into the rankings 1 spot lower than the previous week. They did a straight swap for @Advanced Zap and although this PG put up good numbers, it didnt translate into a winning formula. This team has good pieces and they'll most likely lock down a playoff spot. Im sure they would like to get more from this season, but it doesnt look likely.

13. Phoenix Suns (5-7) Previous Rank: 9

@im just a squid and the boys struggled mightily this week. After going 1-5, one has to question if last week was a fluke. @Two Lag Shots is still a big contributor on this team, but his impact may have been a bit inflated. Lets see if the boys can turn it around in the coming weeks of the season. They've already shown promise once. Bring the scorching heat!

14. Toronto Raptors (4-8) Previous Rank: 16

@YSL BULLY and his Raptors have essentially turned their season around. Not a complete 180 degree turn, but it'll be a slow and steady process. They were able to acquire @mferra32 and he's having a career LG season averaging 25.4 PPG and 8.2 ASTS. They still have other great pieces in @BennyBvckets - @Icey Sneaker - @YungTickle . This team could sneak in as the 6th seed if they get it together and really put their minds to it. Respect to this squad for never fully quitting, even though some ffs are thrown in here and there.

15. Utah Jazz Previous (3-9) Previous Rank: 13

@johnny nobakes team slipped even more than anticipated this week. 1-5 is never ideal, but going winless would've been devastating. The Jazz will still fight to the end but playoffs are already out of the picture for this squad. @HBB Westie is just playing for personal reasons at this point and is in the running for 1st-team PF. Lets see if he can continue making his case.

16. Chicago Bulls (3-9) Previous Rank: 15

@Ayztraks and his Chicago Bulls are in the position everyone expected them to be in. @xPaca impact has not translated to wins. They made a move for @HBB Nas and while his numbers were decent, it wasnt the type of infusion they were expecting. After a 1-5 week, lets see if this team will continue to fight. Thats really all thats left for this team.
