I never spoke to Recki but Always heard nothing but great things and from reading all the comments it does show he meant a lot to the LG community. Rest easy bud.

So many ridiculously good times over the years...To think I'll never hear you call someone a "shitter" again...really took you for granted, reck. My heart goes out to the entire Karecki family, I can only imagine the heartache. Only the good die young...

I didn't know Recki very well, I'm not even from the NHL side. Recki was on my team in LGFA, he only played 6 games with us but from the short time I knew him, he was an incredible person. We managed to lose all our games that season but he always maintained his positivity and he always came to every game with a great attitude. Rest in Peace Recki.

I didn't know Recki as well as some of the others, but I'll always remember how awesome of a person Recki was, how kind he was to others, and the passion he had when playing. The few times I played w/ him was always a blast. Recki buddy, we will miss you, we will never forget you. May you rest peacefully <3

I haven't been on this site in a while, but when Jlm told me the news I had to come give my condolences to the family and community. Recki was always one of the nicer guys to talk to in the league, as shown by the stories here. I feel so sad about this situation.

Jesus. Recki was so easy to get along with and i truly I am shook hearing his passing. Life has been really hitting hard lately with pretty weird pandemic times, and protests. Regardless of things Recki always had the positive mindset and easy going spirit that I inspire to instill into my kids one day. RIP recki. This is a hole that cannot be filled.
