Hey, whats up? I haven't made a thread since Christmas! Which btw together we raised $1200!!! 2 families got to have a good Christmas, its amazing what this community can do when we remember the important things in life, like the NHL series of games sucking and people being happy..... Anyways, I don't know how many of these I'm gonna do and I plan to change up what I'm comparing teams to, this time we're going with Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Boston Bruins This team doesn't have much outside Keeks. With that being said I'm giving you Catapult Turtle. Once per turn this card can sacrifice a monster to do damage to the opponent, which is fitting because once per game Keeks will be launching a teammate out a window. Buffalo Sabres Maybe I've been out of the game too long but outside Woy I don't see anyone special on this roster? Like I guess the GM is good, but frenchies play 1 style of hockey, stop it and they croak. Carolina Hurricanes Ah my good friend Claus! But not really.. So I see some staples of a Claus team, Being Balake and Saund13. Hes got Franky on D and is taking a huge risk on vshot. In theory hes probably a top 5 team in the east and top 3 if you don't know whose playing on the account. Columbus Blue Jackets You gotta feel for here. The guys a top talent that hasn't even hit his ceiling and now has to waste a thumb season playing for whatever this team is. Id say the same for their GM but like, he agreed to be the GM. I can see these 2 goalies letting in uhhhhh a lot of goals. Detroit Red Wings Why is your best forward a 2nd liner.... Why is your best dman someone I've never heard of before, you.... you know bidding gave you the chance to get like, somewhat good people right? The only excuse I can come up with, is you wanted to play with friends, which is fine and dandy, but like...... You should have your team taken away. Florida Panthers Haha very funny guys, pranking me with Stavio being an owner... hahaha, wait. Guys, they let Stavio be an owner? Wait... why? Who let this happen, guys come on..... There had to have been better options, a monkey, a piece of cardboard, Rex Raptor maybe? Ok um.. You have Jay! (That's good) You paid 11m for a french dman that's probably never gone away from "slap up" (That's bad). Montreal Canadiens One of the more balanced teams in the east. Definitely some interesting personalities on this team that might make or break their season. I wanna say I'm confident that the management can keep things running smooth but there's one player on this team that has the power to literally run this team off the road. New Jersey Devils I definitely expected more from a veteran owner. You came out with high priced players, but not any that truly impact the game. You also got Rago so -5 right there. You don't get anything else New York Islanders So for a quick second I though your GM was someone I knew from the old Xbox days. Turns out its not, just a dude that's found different ways to spell out the same tag, jesus christ man get a grip. Lets be honest, you're gonna have one of the lower tier 1st lines, with only having 1 first line player in the entire Org. Just go out there and have some fun. Also block a lot of shots cause you have mooner in net. Here's mooner after getting torched. New York Rangers Da fawkin Rangas... Ok so let me say that I have no idea who Sirgab is, but looking at his stats the dude looks like a very good player. I'm not gonna deep dive and see how many first lines hes played or anything like that, I'll leave that to the stat dorks. Overall this team seems very middle road but with the chance to surprise people if they get rolling. One of the better 1-2 punches in the league as well. Ottawa Senators This team has some personality on it for sure. That one person might make or break this squad and their season overall sort've like Montreal. It would be a shame since there's a lot of talent on this team and some very good contracts on 3-4 guys. But its Scott so you know I have to meme him and Entry Philadelphia Flyers I wont sucky sucky my own team and just give us a card that I think fits. @KushNastyy Pittsburgh Penguins So back in the day, you could tell who was a small games player just by looking at their tag. Do you see where I'm going with this? Jesus christ, what is this team... Max once booted me out of a hut game and gave me a loss so fuck that dude. Tampa Bay Lightning These guys have a bog so I have to be nice or I'll get the ban hammer worse than the time I called someone fat in the shoutbox and got banned for a month..... Uhhhh, Ok so Fog at a lot of money isn't too bad as long as they got steals elsewhere, and luckily they did! And in handfuls. Tampa was definitely one of the smarter teams in bidding this season, almost makes me wish I played a more valuable role. Toronto Maple Leafs So many teams use the same god damn colour holy moly. Anyways This team has a west line so they don't get anything of value... When you're desperate to win you do scummy things like play people on 100ping so you can score virtual points. L Washington Capitals The Capitals are probably the best team in the East. 5 great great players that can really push the pace of games and control from start to end. Do they have a weakness? Sure every team does, but its up to you to find it and expose it harder than Yugi exposed the shitty rules in the anime. If you're wondering, yes this was very very hard to do...
