Hello everyone, this is a week one review, not a power rankings post. Not including this weekend trades. Each team can be in more than one GOTW as it is decided by similar record/points. Don't get offended by this as it is just a review. Eastern Atlantic Division: 1) San Diego Gulls: (8-0-1 17 Points) The Gulls are ran by @l1l Sharp l0l and @Colonel20. They saw their Gulls come out flying going almost perfect in every way. Ending the week on a win, they also outscored their opponents 45 to 23 (leading the AHL in Goals For). They were led by @l1l Sharp l0l who went 3-0-0 with 14 points and @Noodle The God who went 3-0-0 with 10 points. Key Players For Week 2: @l1l Sharp l0l @Noodle The God @Dabaws l24l Week 2 Expectations: 7-1-1 GOTW: San Diego (8-0-1) @ Toronto (7-2-0) Sunday 6/14 @ 8:30 PM EST 2) Ontario Reign: (8-1-0 16 Points) The Reign are ran by @SmiTTy x 12 and @Bush WooKie oo. The Reign also had a near perfect week but ended up 1 point behind the Gulls. They ended the week on a 5 game win streak, and outscored opponents 39 to 20. They were led by @l kinns l 98 who went 3-0-0 12 Points and @Niskanen x l2l who went 5-1-0 with and 81% and a 1.90 GAA and 1 shutout. Key Players For Week 2: @l kinns l 98 @Niskanen x l2l @Averageboy Week 2 Expectations: 7-2-0 GOTW: Toronto (7-2-0) @ Ontario (8-1-0) Sunday 6/14 @ 9:30 PM EST 3) Stockton Heat: (6-3-0 12 Points) The Heat are ran by @I Prozzer I and @MURPH0270 who had a very surprising week to start the season. Ending the week on a 2 game win streak and they outscored opponents 29 to 28. They were led by @Dub_2x_ who went 2-1-0 with 9 points and @Saucing Pucks who went 2-1-0 and 9 points. Key Players For Week 2: @Dub_2x_ @Saucing Pucks @I Prozzer I Week 2 Expectations: 5-4-0 GOTW: Binghamton (5-3-1) @ Stockton (6-3-0) Tuesday 6/16 @ 8:30 PM EST 4) Tucson Roadrunners: (5-2-2 12 Points) The Roadrunners are ran by @DEC3PTIVE 1 and @darz44. The Roadrunners had a pretty solid week. They closed week 1 with a win. They outscored opponents 29 to 22. They were led by @Kneecko who went 2-1-0 with 12 points and @DangIe Nation who went 2-1-0 with 9 points. Key Players For Week 2: @Kneecko @DangIe Nation @llI 13 Ill Week 2 Expectations: 6-2-1 GOTW: Toronto (7-2-0) @ Tucson (5-2-2) Tuesday 6/16 @ 10:30 PM EST 5) Colorado Eagles: (3-6-0 6 Points) The Eagles are ran by @DatsyukianxDeke @LukeForceWalker. The Eagles had a slightly disappointing first week. They ended the week on a loss and were outscored 31 to 20. They were led offensively by @Meestah Don who went 1-2-0 with 8 points and Hilly who went 1-2-0 with 7 points. Key Players For Week 2: @Smitterr @Meestah Don @SpruceMoose91 Week 2 Expectations: 4-4-1 GOTW: Rochester (4-5-0) @ Colorado (3-6-0) 6) Palm Springs Firebirds: (3-6-0 6 Points) The Firebirds are ran by @McQxade and @Ahmbience. The firebirds had a rough go in week 1, closing it out with a 3 game skid and being outscored 38 to 24 by their opponents. @InmortuaZ however looked promising while going 1-2-0 and putting up 9 points, he did have help from @FiGS42 who also went 1-2-0 with 8 points. Key Players For Week 2: @FiGS42 @InmortuaZ @Tendy x 20 Week 2 Expectations: 2-6-1 GOTW: Laval (3-5-1) @ Palm Springs (3-6-0) Sunday 6/14 @ 8:30 PM EST 7) San Jose Barracuda: (3-6-0 6 Points) The Barracuda are ran by @MBell91 and @Hautein the Barracuda struggled throughout the week but ended the week with a loss. In the first 9 games they only scored 17 times and let up 32 goals. They were led @l Lebel 89 l who went 1-2-0 with 7 points and @Ezreal who went 1-2-0 with 6 points. Key Players For Week 2: @MBell91 @l Lebel 89 l @Ezreal Week 2 Expectations: 3-5-1 GOTW: San Jose (3-6-0) @ Laval (3-5-1) Tuesday 6/16 @ 10:30 PM EST 8) Bakersfield Condors: (2-5-2 6 Points) The Condors are ran by @Best in Ottawa and @Schweenster. The Condors had a tough start to the season ending week 1 on a 5 game skid. They were outscored 26 to 25. They were led by the 2nd season draft pick duo (drafted by me last szn) @ElVraiCastor who went 1-0-2 with 6 points and @ElVraiPenguin who also went 1-0-2 with 6 points.
