Please Vote! [PS4] Face-off Fight Glitch? Ban or Nah?

VG had this rule, and it’s so much drama to enforce. Some people just tap it by mistake out of habit, and they receive a suspension. I don’t use it, but I can see why some people would be against it.

 

Really tired of watching people act tough in a no fight league lol.

 

Honestly its in the game, its all strategy to win faceoffs. Use it for fakes, and get possession.

 

Banned in other leagues for being an advantage. Should be banned

 

Increasing incidental fights though when guys forget they're not using a female character, and even if it's not a "glitch" resulting in more speed, when we're talking about willfully abusing an unintended consequence such as avoiding contact that SHOULD occur, it shouldn't be allowed in a competitive league. Making the argument of "well it's in the game" is silly, the game also has terrible profanity filters, do we continue to allow you to abuse that while representing the league? The game allows you to fight, do we or do we not discourage players from fighting? We have other rules about actions that are IN the game that we do not allow for either sportsmanship or competitive natures. This should be added to said lists.

 

This. It's just more of a headache for the league to deal with. Everyone can do it. It doesn't take any extra skill to do. No reason to ban it.

 

Faceoffs are a mental game, I feel this adds to the mental game in a positive way...... (you have to make a split second decision on are they going to tie-up or fake the tie-up) Using this as a "fake" tie-up is smart and I see no reason why this should be banned.

wtf are we really talking about banning the faceoff fight glitch? Its become muscle memory to so many and enforcing it would cause chaos. Just turn your character into a girl or dont do the glitch.

 

Why ban a glitch if it’s not proven to give you speed off the faceoff and it’s not like no one else can do it. It’s apart of the game.

While it may not give a boost, the non-collision is a boost on it's own. I think if it's proved it happened all game long or in big spots it's worthy of a one game ban. It's an exploit that isn't legitimate.

 

If you’re gonna ban the fight glitch shouldn’t the sauce glitch be banned too? Why don’t we take out l2ing while we’re at it because technically that’s an exploit too no?

 

You should’ve considered banning this before the whole community got a muscle memory of spamming triangle at every faceoff.

 

Banning it will be such a headache, also it’s in the game and muscle memory so when someone hits it accidentally how does one in force that it’s way to much for bogs to do for not being paid or anything

 

FIGHTING is part of hockey PERIOD... All the other guy has to do is not accept the fight its not hard.. Banning fighting is like banning a part of hockey.. But if u do ban fighting then just ban it off the draws only but keep the if ur team mate gets hit and injured and the fighting pops up you should be still allowed to fight at least keep that then.

 

If your gonna ban the fight glitch you might as well also ban the self sauce glitch that gives you a speed boost.
Probably not worth it due to the headaches it will cause.

 

Anyone can do it. It’s not an issue, and apart of the game at this point. Do not ban it.
