most cali people get 20-30 on cali server and as what i seen today from LA they were getting 70-80 except flapjack

before i moved i was getting 90 on QC and 100 on central and now its 55 on qc and 70 on central

 

Oh so instead of 80 they ONLY had a 50-60 ping advantage? Damn. Unlucky.

 

if your a good enough team /player you can adapt to the connection easily

 

I think instead of arguing and saying things we don't even know we should research and educate ourselves how the connection is established between users and how the connectivity will be affected! I live in Ontario and I got a 16 ms ... If I don't have 16 I got 25 it's either or! Don't forget that user internet speed is the biggest part of it to right!

 

My internet hasn't been great for a while, but QC east I'm around 75, U.S east around 70, Central 55-60, U.S west around 70, and I can't remember the last game I played on Canada west in 20. Around 25 I think.

As things stand right now I'm pretty much ****** when it comes to server location no matter what. Central is playable, but I wouldn't call it good, the others are pretty bad.

But it's irrelevant to me, I'm not signing up until further notice. Played as a west on east all the way since season 8. I'm flat out not doing it anymore until either I move back east or there's an actual central server implemented. Done playing on at minimum -50 ping disadvantage vs the bulk of the league.

Just stop, you keep spreading misinformation. EASHL does not use P2P, and speed is not the most important factor here.

 

It is ask @xDoughty8x, when I’m host and we get central servers he hates playing because I pull central.

 

As a west player, pins aren’t bad connection wise during eshl or specific events that take place during non-LG times. Enjoy the connection when you have 600 games on one server.

 

Anyone know how I could find out what server I am on? Playing from Detroit, MI. Thanks.

Why is the Columbus server still being referred to as a "Central" server? It is nothing of the sort. It is the home server for everyone on the east coast of the US and part of Canada. Not sure why you think it is fair that west coast ALWAYS plays at 70-90ms ping on the "Central" server when the other team is playing at 5-20ms? I agree, if there was a true central server (Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma....) then your idea makes more sense, but it is not reality.

 

It does use it! Iook it up! In game it's p2P 100% and it has been confirm by EA as well

 

So you telling me that everyone who play LG has the best internet connection for their location? Come on! Yes having more servers will help but maybe you should start by looking if you can help yourself first lol

 

We will have a better idea on Aug 28 tho with the technical test
