* New * NHL21 EASHL Gameplay Changes/Updates

the Icing and stick lift are broken in nhl 21 they need to be fix u get a icing even if u get there after the other team lol and stick lift don't work at all.

 

I have a 2k19 Xbox One S from summer 2019, not exactly an older console. If it happens on literally everyone but a One X it should just be shelved and disabled for the sake of gameplay.. Literally only happens in 6s too, 3s its fine.

 

Hitting power is pretty high, I feel like I'm hitting really effectively using builds that shouldn't. Also goalies laying down are making too many arm saves @Herringthefish

 

1. When we took a penalty the Banner saying who took the penalty and the time they did stayed on the screen the entire period blocking the bottom half of the screen.

2. Gotten called for a few double hits where i go through the guy i hit and it locks on to the guy behind him as well

3. We had a floating head or hand in the middle of the ice for half the period. I wish i could record it to show, it was weird.

4. Made a few saves last night where the goalie doesn't animate and it just hit me and goalie had no reaction or anything. Dont know if this is intended when screened or something

5. I took a Major penalty in the game midway through the 1st and when i hit the guy everyone on my teams game froze and just straight crashed and closed itself back to the dashboard for all 6 of us

just a few things i experienced playing 15-20 games of the beta yesterday

 

It was a routine hit on a puck carrier, and the momentum from hitting the first guy carried into the second guy which caused an interference penalty. It hasn't happened since, but I also haven't gone for many hits either.

 

I feel like the Beta #NHL21 ain’t that bad. One thing I haven’t heard yet but other people definitely noticed. We CAN’T Lay down or Kneel more than one second in the slut? Why ?! Like if we drop, our guy will just stand up right away if you’re close from the goalie.

 

Idk if this is the right place to post this but @SweetLou9208, the central server is broken I believe, at least for west people. We get 15-20 higher ping on it compared to northeast and east (CAN/USA east) despite Ohio (assuming it's Ohio) being closer than MTL/PHI. Tested all the servers out in private matches. Would like to see if any east players are experiencing the same issues with that server. I had always assumed the 15-20 ping higher was the USA east server but it was actually central the whole time.

This also sort of puts a damper in LGs whole server gets chosen based on everyone in the games region. Games shouldn't be played on central at all, assuming I'm right about it being broken. I'll find some east/central guys to test it out with tomorrow and confirm.

 

-Open ice hitting is non-existent. Defensemen look like they are getting bubbled off if they try to hit a puck carrier attacking the net.
-Skaters are gaining too much speed coming off of bumps or making it thru traffic.
-The 'double shot' or shot after a loose puck almost seems more aggressive than 20. Need to be able to cancel your second shot or something (LB cancel or press RS or something).
-High wristers are over powered... Goalie animations are not up to speed with the snipes from the high slot or point.
-Passing lanes are still pretty non-existent...forces seem to be meta in this game...Need to increase interceptions or something.
-Boneless wings > bone-in

+The practice modes and menus are awesome
+Passing generally feels more realistic
+New traits/perks are solid

 

Haven’t had any issues with hits - been avg probably 11 per game. Played a few games at d last night and had no problem at all.

Duh should have mentioned his name earlier ... in all seriousness somebody mentioned their isn’t that auto lock on anymore or something so maybe just the angle or you gotta line it up better . Probably needs a bigger sample size

 

Remember in NHL 09? 10? Cant remember which...
You could draw strategies in practice mode... I want that feature back to explain to shitters how to play instead of using a white board

100% agree with Mike... getting puck forced through yourself is annoying, makes me look like a bigger cone then I am which I thought was near impossible in NHL 20.

 

They don't seem as effective in the offensive zone as they do in the neutral zone, but personally speaking I would rather too many passes go through than not enough.

 

There is still the double shot animation and can they fix the Michigan lmao

 

How do they think the shot aim being broken on onetimers is good?

It means every shot when the guy is standing still is aimed directly at the goalies chest unless you dont hold up until the pass is made which results in wrist shots instead of clappers because its not versus and you dont know when the pass is coming.

also the letting go of shootr and going to pick up a loose puck forces you to shoot it 2 seconds later sucks

But being realistic I feel like the neutral zone passes go through me everytime even if im in the lane, you basically have to be in front of the person to defend it and not in the lane.

 

I mean fair enough, they could be tuned up a bit but I'm still seeing plenty of goofy one hand interceptions. All in all though I would rather it by like this then go back to when you intercepted anything that was within your reach.

 

its not broken, that happens in 20 as well due to the eastern location of it and it being more south.

 

impossible to put a body on a player. needs to be fixed asap. Bounces are to bouncy*
