they have to tone down the poke in game modes like versus and hut. They're borderline unplayable in the current state.

 

Make Goalies better than skaters. Stop with the 12 goal games. Not fun. Tight 3-2 wins are way better.

 

1. Let us hit the net more often. Especially when the goalie is completely out of position. Even sniper builds make no difference.

Puck interceptions and pickups seem genuinely impossible at times. Lots of forced cross creases and max power cut passes are going straight through you even when you're in perfect defensive positioning.

Poke checks are way too strong.

D to D one timers are straight marshmallows

 

Pucks are still intercepted too often when a player has their back to the puck.

 

I hope so because holding L2 turns my back to the puck for some reason lol.

Not sure if it’s a bug or not but in clubs I have the centre ice logo unlocked and selected but it’s not showing in game.

 

The stick lifts are essentially useless now
The negatives on the perks don't make much sense

But for the people complaining about being flat footed and getting toasted, Anticipate the play. I actually like that difference this year

The second poke I hit on this guy is just stupid, I'm facing the wrong direction and just stab it perfectly like it's nothing.

The poke he hits on me at the end of the clip is the imbalance I see between puck carriers and defenders. I lose far more speed trying to come out of that curl and straight line behind him, he's facing the right half wall and able to just instantly turn waving his stick like a loon and makes the play.

Will EA actually make a decent game in our lifetime or just blindly rob everyone year after year?

 

Main thing for me is defensive pass interceptions ... if I’m looking at the puck, and it’s not sauced, and I’m a realistic distance away to react, I should intercept it ... also the stick lifts are terrible, I don’t mind the poke checking just forces people to move the puck quicker

 

Fix the Pokechecks they are way too good and often act as a crutch for poor defensive positioning as sometimes they clip right through a players skate but draw no penalty. Deking needs to be fixed mostly for hut, instead of making players lose the puck randomly for stick handling when there deking stat is low. Instead make it so when a player has a low deking stat they deke slower.
Pass interceptions also need a fix, I like what was done by making it easier to sneak a pass through defenders who aren't well positioned but it's way too much as a defender can be in a very good position and the puck still goes through them.

 

In terms of Be A Pro mode...

The constant conversations from coaches, teammates, agent, GM, whatever, they're WAY too much. Especially the coach in game. I must talk to him like 10 times a game. It's annoying. I get it that people wanted an expanded Be A Pro mode but holy crap, at least add an option to shut off the conversations. Not everyone wants to deal with being bothered by a conversation after every game, shift, goal & such.

Why the hell can I not have LW as my primary even though I selected it. I pick C as my secondary & I'm stuck on RW. What's the point of selecting your position(s) if you can't actually play them? Because I'm a right shot trying to be on the left side? Common.

Where are my own wants for conversations / actions? Why can't I ask for a trade or a position change & such. It's not in the game, I know but it seems like it should've been.

Online 6's...

Goalies continue to get bent over by stupid animations or are in perfect position yet the puck goes right by. Same thing for defense trying to cut off passes.

Stick lifts & pokes from behind are an issue as is the penalties for them. Instead of getting penalized for using such actions, how about just go back to making such actions accurate again but add a timer on how many times you can use it, maybe once every 2-3 seconds once you use a poke & such. Use it & you have to wait 2-3 seconds before the game will allow you to use it again.

Menus are still a joke taking 5 minutes to navigate somewhere. Seriously, just bring 14 back.

Honestly it baffles me that some of these things are STILL issues after how many years? Do they not know how to fix this stuff or do they simply just not care?

 

this one doesnt happen all the time. but in woc when the timer reaches 0 after a pause or intermission the game just sits on that screen till 1 team quits out. this leads to a standoff wasting a ton of time

Too many shots (especially one timers) missing wide open nets or just going wide and not where you intended to shoot it.

Pause at 4 seconds left in this clip and you can see I had already stopped skating to aim my shot bottom left but the puck went central high towards the goalie to hit off the shaft of his stick when he's way out of the play.


With the number of bad aim shots missing, this game still seems to be overpowered for offense and scoring goals, thanks to the numerous own goals by defenders trying to pick up pucks and forced creases going through sticks and skates that I'll show examples of in other clips.
