INTRODUCING MEDIA BOIS Bringing LGNHL media to you and your family for s38, our first post is a set of four power rankings for each division in LGNHL. In these rankings, you will see a synopsis of each team describing the teams structure heading into bidding and our expectations for s38 as well as some superlatives and grades. MEDIA BoiS: @Gilbzey @JC Enterprise @Dangs92 @Miike Scott EAST ATLANTIC 1. Toronto Maple Leafs Notes: @PureRippin and @Odieeeeee Together is one of the best management duo's in the league by starting out with a top notch C and arguably best RD in the game. With returning contracts like @Sbass19 , @iiNsAnE x w00dy , @DDezo , @twilightx57x etc... they came out of the gate in bidding hungry getting some absolute steals with @F0G 19 at only 9 mil, @Jensen315 at 2 mil and @TurboYuri at 2 mil. These guys have Frank and Odie manning the first pair coming off a very successful season in STL as a line pairing that up with DDezo, Rippin and F0g will be deadly. I predict these guys sweep through the Atlantic with no scratches. Best Contract: @Jensen315 ($2M) Worst Contract: @Hriiz ($4M) X Factor: @F0G 19 FWD Grade: A+ DEF Grade: A GOALIE Grade: B+ 2. Montreal Canadiens Notes: Ahhh, @Shockz and @CT 66 back at it once again, pairing up with my own PSN GM @BRIEREx and adding @TheHeroicDuck into the mix even though he is out of position will make for a tough team to beat come playoffs. The Atlantic is very weak compared to the last 4-5 seasons so I'm looking at this team to chase right behind Toronto for the top spot. They have plenty of good cheap QC's on the team to pair up with guys like @l Ringy l97l like, @MxrteI , @APX x 93 and @Duber x 10 so they have the depth to make the run it just all depends on whether or not they can preform against the other 1st and 2nd lines around the league. Best Contract: @Shockz ($8M) Worst Contract: @TheHeroicDuck ($6M) X Factor: @CT 66 (the glue guy) FWD Grade: A- DEF Grade: B+ GOALIE Grade: B+ 3. Ottawa Senators Notes: Frenchland returns! I can see maybe 4-5 non QC's on this roster and I'm not mad about it to be completely honest. They stuck with their guns and I genuinely think this is yet another deep Ottawa Senators team. With their O and GM completing the top two LW spots on the roster they have filled out with some great contracts in @I HDC I , @Kroneez , @xDubz 17 and @AnacondaStud . @DumouIin is a top tier RD no matter what anyone says, did they overpay a touch? maybe, BUT for a game 7 RD in LG 11 mil is not a crazy overpayment. This team will be forced to play on Virginia every game so that may hinder the performance a bit but I still see them being top 3 in the Atlantic. Best Contract: @xDubz 17 ($1.25M) Worst Contract: @Dumoulin ($11M) X Factor: @AnacondaStud FWD Grade: B+ DEF Grade: B GOALIE Grade: B- 4. Detroit Red Wings Notes: Ice Cream Truck and Kos return for what looks to be yet another successful season coming up. They came into the season with some great contracts in @OFs , @Chrispy8120 and @Dominator Silva all looking to improve from last season. They have lots of depth from bidding with Dmart, TSpoon, Troobs and adding that key G7 Dman to go with ICT in @LemeIin , he is overpaid but when his TWP per game is 10 mins + , I guess you can justify it. I see these guys sliding in as a 7/8 spot in the east and making waves in playoffs. Best Contract: @Chrispy8120 Worst Contract: @LemeIin X Factor: @LemeIin FWD Grade: B DEF Grade: B- GOALIE Grade: B+ 5. Boston Bruins Notes: I Personally think this is a very slept on team, getting @Sixty-_-One as a GM with Riv is a huge addition. Going into bidding with two very key contracts in @Anthvass14 and @Grandma in Urn will lead this team to have a very successful bidding. They picked up that game 7 C/LW they needed with @McLxvinn and are lacking in the D category. So, if the D step up on this team and prove me wrong this could be a deadly team moving into the back half of the season. Best Contract: @Grandma in Urn ($4M) Worst Contract: @Lebang 58 ($4.5M) X Factor: @McLxvinn FWD Grade: B+ DEF Grade: B- GOALIE Grade: B- 6. Tampa Bay Lightning Notes: First time owner @GeT MuTeDD picks up the @l JLP l who could have a very solid season with his boys @EthanF74 and @Magundis . But other than a few good cheap contracts theres not much forward depth here whatsoever, to me this looks like a 1st line and 2 good 3rd lines, so I just cant see them making playoffs unless they get some good line matching or make some moves for some high end forwards. The D on this squad to me is 2 2nd line D pairs and a weak 3rd. I just don't see that solidified first line you need to take down top teams. I see them finishing somewhere around 10/11 in the east Best Contract: @Saucing Pucks ($500k) Worst Contract: @BowserKOTK ($4.5M) X Factor: JLP/Magundis/EthanF line FWD Grade: B DEF Grade: B GOALIE Grade: C+ 7. Buffalo Sabres Notes: Alright, Other than @ShaunaIdinho @l Yahtzee I and @KSKrish I see a bunch of 3rd line guys on cheap contracts, I just see no upside to this team especially with Shaun very vocally wanting out of there. @BUFFALO STAR 23 is a very good guy but has been struggling to hold down top guys on his team or crack high spots in the standings and I really don't see that changing this season. Best Contract: @SJUSoccer9 ($500k) Worst Contract: @EgoKiller43 (free contract) X Factor: @ShaunaIdinho FWD Grade: C+ DEF Grade: C+ GOALIE Grade: C- 8. Florida Panthers Notes: Idk what to say man, @Pogyz you're competing with NJD for worst roster. Atleast get gys like bardown zigg schroy and nasty out so you and your boys can suffer in peace. Best Contract: @Bardown Beauty ($3.5M) Worst Contract: @SchroyDaddy ($5M) X Factor: @Zigg 59 and @N A S T Y x 93 carrying a line FWD Grade: D+ DEF Grade: D- GOALIE Grade: D-
With a team as bad as Buffalo is, i don't see how Ego is the worst contract. He is coming off 19 and 20 win seasons better than many owners/gms in the league tbh
hes just not worth the free contract all im saying, hes a good guy and player but 100% not worth the 8+ contract tag
