FULL WARNING! Please don't be salty, if you disagree with my predictions use this as a chance for motivation these are just my thoughts on how the season will go! Metropolitan Division Carolina Hurricanes Philadelphia Flyers New York Islanders New York Rangers New Jersey Devils Columbus Blue Jackets Washington Capitals Pittsburgh Penguins Really interesting division, I don't think my predictions are much of a hot take. I still don't understand what Pittsburgh's idea was leaving bidding with 8.5 mil of cap leftover, maybe they have something up their sleeves but at this stage I don't see them getting anywhere higher than 6th in that division. @JClaus33 always builds god squads and he'll be making another good run this season. All round it'll be a super competitive division and I don't think there's any way to predict this 100% correctly as I can see all the teams from 2-8 sliding up and down the standings based on trades and performance from their bottom lines. Atlantic Division Florida Panthers Detroit Red Wings Toronto Maple Leafs Tampa Bay Lightning (W) Ottawa Senators (W) Buffalo Sabres Montreal Canadiens Boston Bruins Florida. Get used to loading up into a match against the Panthers and playing on Texas because that's the only server you'll be playing them on this season! I think they will have a super hot start and that's what'll solidify their spot as first in the division but as the season goes on I can see teams adapting, and them cooling off. @Stav 98 proved last season that he knows how to build a great team and fleece managers with trades (@xCHiiEF-96 <3) and is setup to make another unreal run. I really like Tampa Bay and Detroit's roster but if they run into some toxic situations or bans it can go down very quickly for them. Ottawa and Buffalo will be fighting for the last Wildcard spot in my opinion, I have Ottawa taking it because I just like their roster more and I think @I MT98 I and @eastons- did a great job but I wouldn't sleep on Buffalo either as this is the best team they've made in a while. Boston's one of the more interesting teams, @Theos-_- is gonna have to carry this team on his back. I don't see them fighting for a playoffs spot unless they can provide him some support and if @SimplyBrisky- can survive the season Central Division Arizona Coyotes Dallas Stars Winnipeg Jets Nashville Predators (W) St. Louis Blues (W) Colorado Avalanche Minnesota Wild Chicago Blackhawks This division is gonna be a dogfight to say the least. @Dangs92 coming back with the majority of the key pieces from last season while switching GM's and I really think it's their division to lose. @ItsWillee returning with a more depth team which is where they struggled heavily last season so he will be back up at the top of the standings once again. @Joffman- had a pretty good first bidding and he has a really good balance of top end talent and depth throughout the entire lineup and I just don't see his team missing the playoffs. @SelkeSean actually has one of the more impressive teams in my opinion, I knew he ran into some goaltending issues last season and I don't know a lot about his goalies so hopefully he doesn't run into that issue again this season. As for the bottom 4 teams they went really top heavy and are gonna have to rely on guys that haven't really proved themselves which is always a little scary to bet on but if they can get the wins from their bottom lines I can see any of them jumping up on this list into playoff contention. Pacific Division Vegas Golden Knights (P) San Jose Sharks Calgary Flames Vancouver Canucks Edmonton Oilers Los Angelas Kings Anaheim Ducks Seattle Kraken Vegas is the team to beat. @Bo-Dangles10 built the best team this season and are the early Cup favourites. I'm still stunned the owners let him get some of those guys for as cheap as they did and after playing their 3rd line last night they are the real deal and are easily the scariest team this season. I wouldn't sleep on @JaYI77I either as he built a sneaky good 3rd line as well and I really like a lot of the contracts they got. I also don't see how @xCmess doesn't make the playoffs this season as he's setup great. I wouldn't be surprised if 1 of Vancouver, Edmonton or LA take the last playoff spot as they will all be in contention I just think both of those spots will go to the Central. As for the bottom 2 teams I'm just not the biggest fans of their lineups and I think they both lack significant 2nd lines but those can be changed very easily through trades and I know both those managing groups have great expereince and I'm sure they could pull it off. Good luck to all owners the season and follow me on twitch and twitter! https://twitch.tv/bwubz and https://twitter.com/bwubz_ #shamelessplug
Due to recent actions it is looking like the St. Louis Blues are in shambles and in the bwubz power rankings have dropped to 6th in the division giving the Colorado Avalanche the last wildcard spot, goodnight.
good writeup man, was a very good read! hope to see more writeups like this during the season. @bwubzz
