There have been a lot of lists lately in the AHL, and @Schwifty7 will soon be doing a massive list for each of the three leagues. I've had enough of celebrating the "best," so I'm here once again to recognize the Most Mediocre members in the AHL. We're changing it up this time and listing the Most Mediocre player on each team. I might award Most Mediocre Medals at the end of the season again. 1.) Bakersfield Condors

- Mediocre record, mediocre media maker, mediocre manager, fan of a mediocre sports city. Great way to start off our mediocre list! 3-0 with his new team though... Perhaps Bakersfield can backpack Chi out of mediocre territory.


2.) Belleville Senators

@Hall x 71 (RW)
(6-4-2, 32 points, 10)

- How can you not pick someone who names himself after such a mediocre player? The mediocre record on a solid team didn't hurt Hall here either.

3.) Binghamton Devils

@All Worried (LD)
(6-6, 8 points, -17)

- The most mediocre manager of the most mediocre team in the league (36 points in 36 games), has a matching mediocre .500 record. Marvelous.

4.) Bridgeport Islanders

@TITOTHICMEAT (Center)
(7-2-3, 16 points, 9)

- Tito, better known as "TITOMEDIOCREMEAT," was the easy choice for this Islanders squad. I can 100% guarantee that Tito falls asleep crying in his mothers basement while listening to this song every time @skyre5 or @SouPerSaiyan yells at him. (song also works everytime these guys choke in the playoffs )

5.) Charlotte Checkers

- Buddy is making 1.875m per goal this season. That is all.

6.) Chicago Wolves

- I've never seen such a massive contract moved so easily. Guy is on his third team of the season, and we've only played four weeks. How many more mediocre teams can take on this monstrosity of a contract?

7.) Cleveland Monsters

- This guy is most definitely nostalgic of anytime in which he wasn't on the not even remotely close to mediocre Monsters.

8.) Colorado Eagles

How dare you waive @vGrxmpy . That decision is an Automatic mediocre mention.

9.) Grand Rapids Griffins

- Surely nobody else on this team is having a mediocre season... Nope, can't think of anyone else. Willy is the easy choice here. Get fucked, nerd.

10.) Hartford Wolfpack

@Papa Clow (RD)
(5-6-1, 18 points, 1)

- The most mediocre player for Hartford was going to go to @AoN x CLUTCH (5-6-1, 21 points, 1), but he and much of the team ate too much WolfBANe, so they're gone. I'm highly disappointed because Clutch had a chance to make history by potentially being the first player ever to win an Anti-Award and a Mediocre Medal in the same season. Now he'll just have to settle with likely sharing the Anti-Hunt.


11.) Henderson Silver Knights

- I just want to trigger Tyrant, and knock his ego down a notch or two... Still a 500K bum in the eyes of literally everyone.

12.) Hershey Bears

@Lemxeux (LD)
(6-6, 9 points, 0)

- Lemieux is so mediocre that he doesn't even have a +/-... Guy also has a mediocre gamertag. Why the random "x" in place of the "i," but not one of the "e's" or "u?" So many options, all of which are dumb.

13.) Iowa Wild

@WAT7T (RD)
(4-4-1, 7 points, 1)

- Poor Watt probably thought he was going to escape @BozWPG this season after getting an NHL bid... Watt managed to avoid his mediocre destiny for one week before getting waived and traded to Iowa. RIP.

14.) Laval Rocket

@SievE30 (LD)
(6-5-1, 8 points, 4)

- Sieve and his Rocket's are both having pretty mediocre seasons thus far. This mediocrity is good enough for a playoff spot, so keep it up!

15.) Lehigh Valley Phantoms

@Fly I25I (RW)
(6-5, 29 points, 1)

- Fly is currently making 1.25m per win on the season, and his team as a whole has been pretty mediocre as well.

16.) Manitoba Moose

- @SpruceMoose91 (4-6-1, 26 points, -16) & @Drake0807 (4-6-1, 23 points, -16) get to be the first duo to share the mediocre honor for their team. Quite honestly a huge step up for these guys, considering how brutal Manitoba is, and how these two came so incredibly close to bringing home an Anti-Award last season... Also hilarious that a guy with Moose in his name is on the Moose #Mooseception.

17.) Milwaukee Admirals

(6-5, 7 points, 2)

- After getting backpacked by a solid Charlotte team last season, Biggie is taking a step back into Mediocre territory so far this season.

18.) Ontario Reign

@GimmixPwns (Center)
(5-5-2, 19 points, 0)

- So many options to choose from on the Mediocre Reign... Pwns' stats are highly mediocre across the board, so he's the okayest choice.

19.) Palm Springs Firebirds

(5-6-1, 20 points, -13)

- Tbnk Robinsky, I hyped you up as the best contract in bidding for these Frenchie Firebirds, and the results thus far have been mediocre at best.

20.) Providence Bruins

- What's a list without mentioning the legendary Schaefa? It'll be extremely difficult for Schaefa to continue his mediocrity with the miserable Bruins though.


21.) Rochester Americans

- Baker has cooked up a highly mediocre Rochester squad this season. Fortunately for him, being mediocre is likely all it will take to potentially find themselves in a playoff spot in their shitty division.

22.) Rockford IceHogs

(3-3-3, 25 points, 0)

- Rockford has been solid so far, so there weren't many mediocre options to choose from, but 3-3-3 from an NHL send down makes a pretty easy choice for the most mediocre piggy.

23.) San Diego Gulls

(4-4-1, 10 points, -13)

- My Cousin Vinny is a fantastic movie... Unfortunately this Vinny is significantly more mediocre than his namesake. So mediocre that he was already waived by the miserable Roadrunners this season. Yikes.


24.) San Jose Barracuda

@Vahey x 19 (RW)
(6-6, 30 points, -7)

- Vahey has been pretty mediocre so far. No surprise there, but at least his top line has been carrying those Cudas.

25.) Springfield Thunderbirds

@A Royal Goat (LD)
(6-6, 13 points, 0)

- Anyone else feel the need to know exactly how Royal this goat is? Is he/she a King? Queen? Prince? Princess? The world may never know... What goes without question though is that this particular goat and the Tbirds as a whole have been royally mediocre this season.


26.) Stockton Heat

- 6-6 with 6 points? Sounds like this French Rookie should be on the Binghamton Devils instead. This guy has been incredibly mediocre so far. I'd have to assume that Stockton expected better from the guy they gave a 3S contract to.

27.) Syracuse Crunch

- There's no shortage of .500 record players on these Crunch. I'm going to go with Cab for most mediocre Cruncher though. Elite dman, but clearly demonstrating mediocre forward abilities.

28.) Texas Stars

(4-8-1, .753 SV%, 3 GAA)

- DEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTT. That is all. Nobody else on this team is worth talking about. Deet deserves better than the team in front of him. Texas better figure it out soon or else we need to begin the #FreeDeet movement!

29.) Toronto Marlies

(4-4-4, 19 points, -3)

- Strizzy and his mediocre play is leading the way for the wildly Mediocre Marlies. It doesn't get much more mediocre than this stat-line to be honest. Good job.

30.) Tucson Roadrunners

(6-9, .710 SV%, 4.06 GAA)

- It's tough to be mediocre on the Miserable Roadrunners. Click's stat-line is certainly less than mediocre, but with little to choose from, I had to go with the dude with a 6-9 record...


31.) Utica Comets

- So much mediocrity in Utica... Can @BWZinc figure out how to finally make the playoffs in the AHL? I said nice things about these Comets and Boogie in my bidding write-up, and I'm having a tough time deciding who has been more mediocre so far smh.

32.) Wilkes-Barre Scranton Pens

- Mediocre Don has been exceptionally mediocre for the Mediocre Baby Pens. Keep up the meh work, and a Mediocre Medal could certainly be in your future!​

 

Calls me a choker in the playoffs. Meanwhile @l Bossy l x 22 is 3-6 all time ahl playoff record. You cant make this stuff up it writes itself!
