It's time to officially announce our Anti-Award winners for S39. This season was easily one of the most miserable seasons in LGAHL history, so I'd like to congratulate all of our winners for being the worst of the worst. Automatic Awards

Anti-Calder/Anti-Presidents

Winner: Tucson Roadrunners

- Someone needs to step up and make Tuscon great again on NHL22.

- I feel like we should observe a moment of silence in honor of this guy being the only player to spend the entire season on Tucson... Being tortured by Liam Neeson in Taken sounds like a better time.

Co-runner-up: The 50 other players who appeared in a game for Tucson without taking a ban
- You all deserve to sort of win something. I'm not going to bother to look this up, but I feel like Tucson has to have broken the record for most players used in a season.

[Awarded to the forward with the least amount of points on the season]

- Providence decided to stop forfeiting long enough to help Cross win his first Anti-Award... At least Providence did something right this season.

- Undoubtedly this season brought some flashbacks to Tanaka's many miserable seasons of management. RIP.

Anti-Rocket Award
[Awarded to the player who scored the fewest goals in the regular season]

- After getting waived at the trade deadline, Sophisticated fortunately played enough games as an ECU to win himself the Anti-Rocket! Props for continuing to play for the shitty Wolves after no longer being required to.

- 18 wins, and only 8 goals... Someone on Rockford must have an incredibly sore back.

- After taking home both the SoLLenberger and the Anti-Rocket last season, Mike only lasted four weeks this season before taking a ban. Probably wishes he saved himself some misery and simply took that ban last season...

Harry "Unhappy" Holmes Memorial Award
[Awarded to the goalie who allowed the most goals during the regular season]

UseLes Cunningham Award
[Awarded to the league's least valuable player]

- Butterfinger Bally also claims the UseLes Award. Two wins in 21 games is insanely impressive... Even that is overshadowed by the league leading -63.

(3-19-2, 36 points and -55)
- Buch undoubtedly wishes the league would've just folded the players, along with the entire Binghamton team when the league decided to fold them. Instead he ended up on Tucson... Poor guy.

- Cav was the most UseLes player for almost the entire season, until he decided to win three games in the final three weeks to cost himself the award. On a rare serious note from these threads... Good shit keeping your team from forfeiting any games this season. It was a rough one, but props to you and @I Splinter77 I for not being one of the many teams who ruin this league with forfeits.

Eddie I'm Not "Shore" You're A Dman Award
[Awarded to the AHL's worst defenseman]

- Sorry to disappoint everyone who was expecting to see @tbeat-- here, but he surprisingly won three of his last four games, so you'll have to settle with his teammate who didn't win a single game after week five.

Aldedge "Bad" Bastien Memorial Award
[Awarded to the league's worst goalie]

- Wade has the literal same exact save percentage that he had while leading for this award back in week six... The second worst save percentage in the league.

(6-14-1 with .671 SV% and 5.67 GAA)
- Chico finishes the season with the worst save percentage and worst goals against average in the entire league, but he also somehow has twice as many wins as Wade while playing for the brutal Bruins... So I can't hand him the Anti-Bastien.

Nail Yakupov Award a.k.a. Anti-Datsyuk Award
[Awarded to the forward who least excels in the defensive aspects of the game]

- The Cleveland Forfeits are mostly responsible for Pothier failing to bring home the Anti-Datsyuk. What a shame.

Anti-Fred T. Hunt Memorial Trophy
[Awarded to the player who exhibited the lowest levels of sportsmanship and ungentlemanly conduct, combined with a low standard of playing ability]

- So tempting to give All Worried the Anti-Hunt for imploding the Baby Devs after getting butthurt over his NHL team trading his best player. Being upset is understandable, and the league needs to change this shit, but doing what he did is inexcusable to say the absolute least.

- All the managers who gave up on their teams, plus a raider of salad for second tagging on PSN (pathetic) all deserve mentions here (let me know if I missed any other manager bans). Notes: Democide's ban was controversial, so I didn't list him as the runner-up with Worried. Broom also proved that he shouldn't have left his home in the AHL. Perhaps he goes back to trying to win the "Broomchump" when his ban ends.

The "Dud" Red Garrett Memorial Award
[Awarded to the least outstanding AHL rookie]

The Mike Milbury Award [Awarded to the least outstanding management team in the regular season]

- Your AHL team folding and imploding themselves over their best player being traded for an NHLer only for your "elite" NHL to stage an all-time collapse to miss out on the playoffs in the last week of the season is such an incredible sequence of events... It is such a massive managerial yikes that may never be surpassed by anyone. Even Mike Milbury is laughing at you.
