I know LG posted a poll on Twitter but honestly think that’s going to be a little biased, as the tournament and pro scene’s all have team Twitter accounts and the casual LG player probably doesn’t even care to vote. I find it hard to believe that everyone has been able to get their hands on a new generation console when I’ve tried for the last few months. So the question is, which Gen do you plan to buy and play the new NHL on?
It wont make sense to switch to the next gen version for league this year. The core game is the exact same on both versions, with next gen getting better graphics. Given that over half the player base doesn't have a new console, playing on the old consoles is the only logical choice
nah series xs arent nearly as hard to get as ps5s and both this poll and the twitter poll show that the majority are getting it on next gen. i didnt get a series x to play an old gen game that looks like a potato
Hope you're right...i just cant see LG alienating that much of their player base. The lack of cross play if it is just graphic details is a massive fail on EAs part
every poll shows to be around 60/40 in favor of next gen. I'd say move LG to next gen while running LG tournaments of smaller leagues on old gen
EA has made essentially 4 different games. PSN old gen, PSN new gen, Xbox old gen and Xbox new gen. It is already stupid enough from them to not have PSN and Xbox be able to face each other, now they have split the new/old gen as well. There is no reason for LG to be on both new/old gen. You pick one and you bite the bullet and live with the consequences. I am pretty sure people will not want to have to get shit on a player for all 4 games (those who play both PSN and Xbox). Either they go new gen or they stay old gen for another year and then move to new gen when most people will have had time and have decided to get a new gen console or they decide to make the switch now.
i remember when they made nhl for both xbox one and xbox 360 for 15...and the new gen one was DOGSHIT. dont trust EA. stay on old gen because they have a history of being dogshit developers.
