It really is questionable not to make a uniform decision, and will set back the player base on Playstation for years. Kinda just don't get it.

@Tris10 why the decision to commit to the full year on old gen for playstation though? There's been a massive increase in availability in recent weeks, by October/November I'm sure your data will tell a different story than it is now. Is there any chance it will be reconsidered at least?

Ok so what makes you think putting Xbox ahead of PlayStation (once again) is smart? I’d like to know the logic behind this decision please.

 

Xbox’s are way easier to attain than a ps5, pretty simple

Will it be on NHL 21 or 22? No one on PS5 will want to buy the PS4 version

 

PS5 but there’s a Two versions. A PS4 edition and a Ps5 edition.

 

Literally just spent 800 on a ps5

 

My issue is that the statement is filled with estimates but nothing explaining how they got there or estimates about PS5. The statement also seems rushed. The trailer isn't even out yet. We have no information on the game. A better message would have been to link people to xbox and ps5 stock tracker links and let people know you are still monitoring availability of consoles. What was the point in delivering a "direction" right away?

Sony came out and said production was ramping up over the summer. Well its the end of the summer and we have seen an influx of drops. Having a couple more weeks to see how the market is while continuing to collect poll votes would have been a better idea imo.

To me the message came across as a push to get people to move to xbox and nothing more. the math and estimates didn't make any sense and weren't explained how they even came up with the numbers.

 

I literally just got a PS5 yesterday during the Walmart drop.

 

Xbox > PS4 on LG, always will be that way. Notice how there are 40 seasons of xbox and only 18 seasons of PS.

 

This isn't a fair argument. The psn side didn't start until NHL 16 and has continued to grow ever since.. To use the amount of seasons as the basis of your argument doesn't work.
