Please Vote! S20 LWJC Training Camp Allstar Team

Inspired by @I Matheson I's shoutbox comment the other day where he suggested that he could "probably build a team of RAs that would poop on 50% of these teams", I decided to take a stab at it myself. I present:

The S20 LG World Junior Championship Training Camp Allstars.

Line 1
@Tigga Sligga - @MiIes75 - @Caboose35
@Brian1591 - @Darkeey

MiIes75 had the best track record of the centers that were undrafted so he takes the #1C spot going 50-20-5 in his past 3 seasons. Tigga Sligga has been a very solid player with Jacksonville of late with a +47 in 2 seasons. And Caboose went an impressive 8-0-0 with 30 points in S18 of the WJC. The forward duo of Brian1591 and Darkeey are an easy pairing to create with many seasons of experience together and both having upper league experience on D.

Line 2
@xxJONx - @Joakim XI - @Eklxnd
@Ob of Zob - @Barber l16l

This line is lead by Ob of Zob and Barber l16l on defense providing a very experienced D pair that combines great shutdown play (Zob) with a player that put up 89 points in S38 (Barber). xxJONx had a solid rookie season in Edmonton, Joakim XI had two very strong seasons in S37-S38, and Eklxnd had a little bit of a breakout in S39 with Maine earning a spot on their top line.

Line 3
@cDuBs allSTAR - @BigSmeII - @ThatZachGuy
@OVBryant l8l - @JohnnDevinee

This line is all about defense. BigSmeII and ThatZachGuy are two very experience upper league dmen that know how to play forward. They'll lead the trap and smother teams. cDuBs has been a good scoring threat for many seasons now so he'll be providing the offense. OVBryant has been around forever and has lots of experience in big games. JonnDevine is an impressive +61 in his 3 seasons in the CHL. This line could honestly be the teams first line but we'll slot them as the third one for now.

Donut has loads of experience at goalie including 40+ games of solid player in esports events. McAllstar had a very impressive rookie season at G in S38 with Atlanta.

Final thoughts:

While I don't agree with @I Matheson I that the team "would poop on 50% of these teams", I do think the team could do very well and grind out a playoff birth. They're 3 lines deep with lots of experience throughout. Elite talent is what would prevent them from competing for a medal but overall it's a good group. I definitely missed a few people that could have been included but as you can see with the missed the cuts players there are a lot of solid options. If you're an owner in the S20 WJCs and are struggling through week 1 I would definitely suggest taking at look at your training camp roster and seeing if you have any of the players on this team and making some changes.

*I haven't seen 75%+ of these players play before. I almost entirely went off of past LG stats.

That team is 10x better then the bottom half haha

 

Great concept I’ll believe that team would prob make the playoffs in division b tbh

I went off of which position you signed up as and you have no stats at defense. You would have been a just missed the cut if you signed up at forward <3.

I'm sad that your'e didn't talk about tendy that are actually working hard to keep the team float.
I would love seen those Tendy (I don't doubt about quality that you guy's are) playing for a average team agaisnt top 6 team (top 3 of each groupe) just for fun to see if they still could be at Allstars game as well.

No offending anyone's on my reply to anybody it's just that it's hard to leave a mark in here !!!

I think you misread my post. This isn't an all-star team. This is a team made up of players who didn't get drafted in the WJC tournament. They're all on TC in WJC (at least they were, a bunch were called up recently).
