How bad is G?

Still debating on playing G this LG season. Any goalies out there wanna tell me whether or not it’s a fun experience lol

Reason for wanting to switch to goalie is my new GF has dog internet so my ms is higher than usual.

 

I've always been more into tendy than forward. I do like the movement I feel like I have much more control over my movement but with these xfactor perks I find tendys get the shit end of the stick, heatseakers snipe me no matter how aggressive I play the shot, if your chest isn't in the shot it's basically 50/50 lol and close quarters it finds holes, off your arm or whatever but honestly I enjoy tendy for sure my man

 

G is fun but when i've played LG, I found myself sitting around being bored more than anything else since teams usually don't put more than like 10 shots on a game. Just expect that and you'll have "fun".

Also expect goals to go in even when you're in position and to still get sniped bc that's how the game is this year. And then the occasional EA bullshit. Expect all this and make the most of it and you'll enjoy it. That's what I do.

 

To keep it simple goalie is fun until you see close quarters, heat seeker, or one timer X factors activate

I find that some of the shooting X factor perks like close quarters, heat seeker and one tee are OP regardless of how good your positioning may be. Game is built for scoring and those goals can be discouraging.

 

Well people I decided to stay goalie. I gotta try it to find out for myself

Playing G in CHEL is the digital equivalent to getting a massive kick in the family jewels. It's a blast really.
