S19 Best Predictions

Here are my early predictions for the season. I think this bidding was deep and a lot of good players were in bidding for forwards at least, defense was a little weak and a lot of average goaltending. Goodluck to all this season and again these are just early predictions.





Metropolitan Division:

No bias at all but I think this is one of the weaker divisions. Carolina is always a top team every season and don’t see why they won’t be again this year. I think Nieler and Joff did great in bidding although I am not worth 9.5, I think it will be worth it if we live up to our potential. We got a steal in jamaicanburger and he will prove he is the best contract in the league along with Jyardy. After the top 2 teams, I think it’s really a toss up between New Jersey and Washington for the 3rd spot, but I have to give it to Washington after their run to the final. The other teams aren’t worth talking about at all. Also have no idea what the Rangers and Islanders were thinking during bidding, but we will see how she goes.



Atlantic Division:

Solid Division to say the least. Montreal seems like a power house and a top team in the league especially with that west line and having nav and @Hriiz together. Tampa looks very good as well but there are some holes to fill but I am sure they will find a way to fill those holes sooner rather than later. Tampa will be more than fine with @eastons- and MT running the team. I think Detroit is hard to judge when it comes to expectations, I think they have a few overpaid bad contracts with @vViperrz and Cartzy. Buffalo looks like a decent team but let’s be honest that’s because you see Tommy on the roster. It will be interesting to see how he does and he will dictate the sabres season no doubt. The bottom 3 teams honestly have depth and could somehow sneak in above Detroit but I personally don’t see it.




Central Division:

This division is gonna be very close and I think the hardest division to predict as I think every team besides Arizona could slip out of a playoff spot by the end of the season. I think Minnesota will make the playoffs but I think they have some big holes on D but I like their chemistry up front and I think they got 2 good goalies for cheap. Nashville is a well rounded team and I think they have the pieces to make their team the best in the division with a couple more moves. I think it’s fair to say they will either take off in the standings or stay middle of the pack and sneak into a playoff spot. Winnipeg will be the team to steal a playoff spot from one of the better ranked teams I have.

Hardest division no question. This is tough to tell, I think the only teams who have no shot are LA and EDM. The others are going to have a gauntlet to get out of this division but on paper this is what i’d rank each team. Vancouver is coming off a good run. I think they have a great group coming back although the reim bid at 8 mill is questionable when they could've gotten someone better at that price but Im assuming its for chemistry and I think they will be a very good team. Vegas and Anaheim are both strong teams. I think Vegas has good depth but lacking high end scoring even with one of the best scorers in BoKnows___. If this team struggles it will be a lack of goal scoring but if they get the goal scoring they should have a chance at Vancouver. Anaheim I could see dropping as they didn’t do amazing in bidding but they have Ethan and a team who’s had its core group for a while. LA I think had the worst bidding this season. @zeidell at 5.5, @Pagzz-- at 3.75, @z-Jor-z at 6, they had potential to have one of the best biddings and failed miserably.
