As everyone know the depth of LGNHL Psn is going down in skill.

Do you think we should cut the league down to 2 lines (like this post if yes) instead of 3 (dislike if no)?

There are always teams that find themselves good third lines regardless of the talent pool, it rewards the managers that do their work and are skilled management wise. It also gives more players the opportunity to prove themselves at the NHL level, as opposed to everyone bidding on only the "names" they recognize.

Okay instead of 2 line NHL don't have 32 teams in LGNHL. Have like 25 or something like that to cut out the piss CHL/AHL owners.

Quality of owners should be looked at more. I understand that some players, should get a chance to own but having multiple owners on the below average scale ruins 17 players season and 9 weeks wasted sometimes, Granted that is what you sign up for and hope to not happen but its a double edged sword, players can play / be toxic enough to get moved at their leisure and 90% of owners will just not deal with the toxic and move the guy. LG is all about the fun but overall competitive 6s experience, we can all agree on that. But when you got owners that we all know will be bottom dwellers especially when their reputation is tarnished from years of trolling and bad experiences season per season, It ruins the experience. There is always gonna be times where good owners have bad seasons. We just seen it with @Kylo_Reli did well s18 as owner, this season had a great GM in @CaLL Me Jakoo and I expected them to be top of pacific but it just didn't work it seems. Also we have seen an abundance of owners and players banned in a single season.

There are pros and cons to the 2 Line / 3 Line system.

    3 Lines:

    Pros

    1. Allows more players to come into the league that are unknown to create a splash of their own, Allows owners to test them out on third line and see how he / she fairs.
    2. Allows for the 9 game week to function properly, creating an even spread of games between lines and the rules that are already set in place.
    3. Gives owners more creativity in creating a team and running a team.
    4. The league has made efforts to allow the best of the best to make it on a NHL roster due to forcing everyone through bidding which helped.

    Cons:

    1. Although it would be great to have diverse lines, it also creates more work and management(babysitting) of more players compared to the 2 line idea.
    2. Potentially saturated league of worse players on the bottom end of lines.

Can't think of anymore pros or cons for this personally add them below / Quote this message

    2 Lines:

    Pros:
    1. Quality of player base and teams
    2. Potentially increased interest of better owners due to competitive player base.
    3. This would also make the AHL more competitive and stronger.
    4. More leagues would be created to make room for the chlers that would potentially get pushed down due to the potential domino effect. (Could also be a con depending how you look at it.)

    Cons:
    1. If interest grew to much, and old / good psn guys and xbox guys started signing back up would you have too strong of a league so that good second and third line nhlers would potentially drop to ahl?
    2. A lot of rule changes and season timelines would have to be adjusted to make up for the loss of players at this level like, How many games a week a player can play etc. (Also schedule changes)
    3. More leagues to be created to make room for players that would get pushed down from other leagues etc.
    4. Less flexibility in rosters and owner creativity throughout a roster.
    5. Could get repetitive from season to season, Owners do usually tend to get their friends, just allows them to get their friends each and every season and same rosters would be seen time and time again.

All that I have for now. Thanks for reading if you do!

Yeah I don't really think the answer is to cut down on the number of players in the league, whether you make each team a 2 line team or reduce the number of teams, that's just the league working backwards, or "regressing" for lack of a better term, when you look at the big picture. Instead of reducing the number of spots in the league because the player pool isn't great, the league should be looking for ways to increase interest so that more talented players have a desire to sign up. Life happens and sometimes people just don't have the time, but there's lots of good players who don't sign up simply because they don't enjoy it anymore or they feel their time is wasted here. I don't really know the answer, and it's good to ask the questions like you are. I just don't think this route is correct for the league.

This is perfect in my opinion. Ahl skill level players belong in the A. Greggy and some others don’t belong down there

At the end of the day it only accounts for what, 10-12 players? It is indeed part of the problem but it's a fraction of it

The way i see it there's a few more variables to take into account.

Each year, there's talent in the AHL that doesn't belong there. @MathLav27 for an example spent his rookie contract in the C and A. He's now a solid NHLer putting up his fair share of point on Arizona's first line.

There's also a lot of guys who doesn't sign up because they don't want to go into bidding and go to a bad team. LG surely has a responsibility in awarding Ownership to the right person. But there needs to be more people to step up and take a leadership role.

And, each and every year, there's more than 20 NHL caliber players who get a cap ban because they're too toxic, they're sad they didn't get to play with their friends or they're tired of losing.

If we want to make the NHL more competitive, it starts with us.

P.S : LG seasons of NHL 23 better be on Next Gen.

The rate at which PSN loses top players to retirement/bans/Xbox is far greater than the rate of new players rising the ranks of LG and becoming bona fide NHL talent. It's like filling a leaky bucket. Need to figure out a way to retain the top talent we already have so that the new guys coming up can fill the gaps appropriately.

Most top guys leave PSN because "PSN isn't good enough, it sucks".

People need to remember, no matter how small your roster is, no matter how many teams there are, some teams are going to be bad.

There will always be better teams than others.

Things won’t change until two things happen:

1.) people accept the fact that not everyone can win. Accept a loss and move on to the next one. Don’t quit because you had a bad night.

2.) not everyone gets on a team with their friends. Don’t sign up expecting to go to one team or quit.

I agree just not everyone is willing or wants to actually play unless they go on a winning team or with some buddies
