Please Vote! Eastern playoff breakdown & prediction

I will be giving some info between the 2 teams per matchup and giving my prediction and thoughts.

(1) Hershey Bears (58-18-8) vs (8) Syracuse Crunch (47-29-6)

Thoughts:
Hershey has had a super dominant season as they won the presidents trophy with 120 total points which was the most in the Ahl. Hershey has probably some of the best defense in the league and has a lot of depth in all 3 lines, i think a player to watch out for is @XpetitXpatron who has been having a great season with a 24-3-0 record. A new struggle within Hershey is a LW spot that had to be patched up due to @YeeBoyEBoisvert catching a 3 season ban. With this, they have called up @xAmateur_Hour who some will probably say is washed and i think it is ok to say that he is definitely a downgrade from before. Another issue i have brought up before and i keep being proven right is their goaltending issues, Timik has really shit stats for a team that won the presidents trophy, being 1.75M is probably one of many reasons they couldn't really upgrade because of his big contract but i think he needs to pick up his game if Hershey is serious about going all the way. I think Hershey is gonna outscore the crunch, i do not think you will see a low score series given Timiks performances in net and the bears scoring power. The Crunch have a really well spread out roster, i think they are gonna put up a fight against the bears and create a problem for them. What i find miraculous is that Camo has a better save percentage and more shutouts than Timik, other than that Hershey definitely takes the higher ground in terms of defense and scoring. I want to say that if the Crunch can really cut off the scoring for Hershey and make it into close games i think that the Crunch can totally upset the Bears and shatter the Ahl.

(2) Grand Rapids Griffins (51-21-10) vs (7) Rochester Americans (46-27-9)

Thoughts:
This matchup has caught my eye as i am looking forward to seeing how this series will go. Rochester is not as good as they once were last season as they dropped to 7th but obviously team so its understandable. The Griffins have a very good 1st line, one that i think will be a battle to watch as the Americans have 3 of the top 10 for points. Melom came into the Griffins roster later in the season and made a big impact on where they were in the standings, as they were in the lower seeds of the eastern conference. I feel like Rochester definitely does have enough talent to make this series go to possibly a game 7, in which case would be great to watch. I think the Americans need to focus on cutting off Hyper, as he has been the Griffins bloodline for plays this season. I think once he is covered and cant do anything or make any passing plays, its Rochester's game. Defense is really gonna be the winning factor in this series. If i was the Griffins i would stack heavily against Ehtea and Dugz as they are gonna be the 2 biggest threats on the ice if they have a chance to do something in the Griffins zone. so every players defensive game has to be big this series. For goaltending i think if Thrice or Melom can get a shutout and weaken the others offensive mentality and get inside their heads with a shutty, that will come into affect as the series progresses.

(3) Chicago Wolves (55-20-7) vs (6) Laval Rocket (48-26-8)

Thoughts:
wolves szn. (LOL)

Laval has a great forward roster with a good amount of depth in front, they have a few flaws that i think will make this a struggle for them in playoffs. number 1 is their backup goalie situation, and when i say this its because they originally traded their backup G @iEskimo- to the Stockton Heat for @Smetty-_-. This leaves a hole for the rocket as yeah Mooner can definitely play the most he can but i still think if Mooner is not doing so well that they do not have that 2nd guy to come in and steal the show for them like the wolves do (). the 2nd issue is the depth on D that Laval has. Chicago has better depth on D whilst i think that they also have a better 1st and goaltending tandem. I feel though that Laval has a better 3rd line that is gonna have to hold it for Laval as the series continues. Mooner and Turkey are both Ex NHL Gs and should without a doubt be in the N again, but with this as a big matchup i think both of them are hungry and out for blood.

(4) Cleveland Monsters (54-23-5) vs (5) Toronto Marlies (50-26-6)​

Thoughts:
This matchup is the one i am looking forward to the most. Both have great forward lines and Defense. Bxlchy is gonna be very hard to get past and i think it will show how far this Marlies team is willing to go in playoffs. While i know a lot of people hate the marlies (i am guilty too) i think that they have the advantage on the Monsters due to them having 2 really good Gs and the Monsters just have the 1 wall. Though i will say that Cleveland has way more scoring output than the Marlies, they are decently also outmatched in terms of defense as well. I think if the Marlies can beat Bxlchy, they will easily make this into a 5 game series in favor of them. If Cleveland can stay heavy offensively and Bxlchy carries along with Quinn getting them one, it will be Cleveland's advance to round 2 and the Marlies become a meme. Toronto had a lot of players from their NHL team come down and sent up players in return they needed to upgrade (RIP godlyjohn), and it almost if not basically sent them back from 2nd to 5th in the east. It shows that their chem is in bad state right now and they are in a weak state and could possibly crumble if they don't get it together this series.
