These are my eastern quarter final breakdowns





(4) Hershey Bears (46-23-3) vs (7) Providence Bruins (38-28-6)

Thoughts:
From week 1 we knew that Hershey would be a very big cup contender and a favorite to win the Calder. We seen Hershey dunk on the frenchies on 2 ping in Laval as they won the series 4-1 outscoring them in every game by a significant amount. Although the bears did get a ff win (idk the full story why), it is safe to say that Hershey is on a mission to obliterate any opposition they face. I would predict Hershey to win the cup if they do get past the bruins. To add to the fire, the Bruins beat the Marlies in 6 which was one of the funniest sb interactions as almost every single Providence player was giving fullsyy a earful after the unfortunate losses to the Bruins. The Bruins have some big names like @Sakxc- and @KuttnKornerz who i believe will be the toughest line to beat in the AHL, other than Griffs line. Offensively i think both teams are pretty matched but if i had to pick a favor it would be Hershey. Defence is a bit more towards Hershey as the Bruins do have some holes in terms of depth on D that could strike as an issue down the playoff series. Same also goes for goaltending but i would say that it is very equal in terms of goaltending as both teams have no horrible Gs, only good ones. I believe that if it goes to 7, Providence could win but i think Hershey has the team to close this in 5 or 6.

Prediction: Hershey in 5 or 6









(8) Hartford Wolf Pack (38-30-4) vs (3) Bridgeport Islanders (43-18-11)

Thoughts:
It is hard to express how amazing it was to watch the Wolves and Wolf Pack go 7 games and the Wolf Pack defeated the heavy Calder favorite as they went neck and neck the entire series and every single game but game 7 was a 1 goal differential. I think if both teams play their best game, i think it can go to 7. The Islanders took on the Monsters who were not a challenge at all compared to what Hartford had to endure, so one could say that the momentum is heavily on the Wolf Packs side. It is a close matchup but i honestly believe that Hartford will once again shock us all and trample over the Islanders. The offensive arsenal that Hartford holds is comparable to the S18 Chicago wolves (not that they are better imo) but you get the point, they are stacked. The Islanders had a tough time with Cleveland and Cleveland was surely not the caliber Hartford had played, but although this is true, there is a speculation that the Islanders will take them off their feet if they could win games 1&2 by a sizable margin. I think Hartford has the better defence and the better G tandem, but they need to get the confidence of @i-meat-i down because he has been super hot as of recently. @Zanzilla10000 and @Cotachoda7 have way more experience in the Ahl than a lot of Gs right now, so i would think that they could hold their own this playoff run with the amount of depth they have. @tkremus had a fantastic season in the C last year and a playoff run that was very impressive. Ok, so both teams have a lot of talent but if one is to bet on someone i would bet on Hartford to probably cruise past the Islanders in 5 or 6. if it goes to 7, Hartford will be the victorious team. (But hey thats just a theory)

My only issue with this is you're talking about the Wolf Pack while completely ignoring their stats from this current season. I voted them in 7 myself but you can't just throw out the fact that they slipped in as the 8th seed and all that "fire power" didn't really bring it in the first regular season of 23.
