Calling all AAA players to check in, ASAP!

i'm pretty sure those 14 people are around, i'm gonna go on AIM see ifi can't get them to sign up

Well maybe we just have one division with 6-8 teams. We can call it the Carolina League:wink: ...

 

i think we should jsut have 2 divisions with even number of teams in each, sounds simple, maybe the top 2 in each division, or top 3 go to playoffs

Oh yeah SmokeDogg, and I'd like to reward you for your kindness, so if you don't have photoshop and want a Twins avatar, just get me some pics to work with and I'd me more than happy to make you one. I'm gonna warn you though, the avatr I have up is my first one and I'm still learning how to use the program so it might be a little rough around the edges but I'd be more than happy to make you one.

 

an easy way to get cool images is to go to google.com and type in say the minnesota twins, and hit images and it will give youhundreds.

 

Phillip my comment was in jest of the situation, the AAA continues to dwindle first it was an entire league, then a conference of the mlb, then two separate divisions, now we can barely support 2.

What are we going to have, 2 divisions of 3??

 

i think i like the one division...

kinda gives the "pennant race" feel that used to exist before wild cards and the like.

depending on the # of teams, we could:

1) have #2 play #3 in a series, winner to play #1

2) just have #2 play #1 in a championship series

3) have 4 vs 1 and 2 vs 3 in the semi-finals - winners play in championship

we should definitely be able to start tonite.

we're getting there.

latest playoff idea is 2 divisions of 5.

top 3 in each division make playoffs.

2v3 and 2v3 in "division series"

winner (2-3) vs 1 and winner (2-3) vs 1 in "league championship series"

winner vs winner in "world series"

with fewer teams being in, we want to keep as many teams as possible alive for the post-season.
