I wanted a thread rather than a poll because anyone on the site can vote. I only want league participants to post whether they would like a 12 week season or a 16 week season. You can also post a comment to support your position.

My Vote: 12 Week Season

I believe 16 weeks is too long. My vote will change if they allow our schedule to match the actual NFL schedule.

 

Well, seeing as how we have a lot of new guys, I think a 12 Week season would work better. We don't even know 100% yet if all the members who signed up are gonna stick around. I say for this first try with all the new guys that we set it at 12 Weeks.

 

Start it off with 12, see how it goes...

With 12 weeks should be able to get 2 seasons in before spring...

It will be a lot easier to replace bogus owners if we are still in the heart of football season when season 1 ends.

 

First post was amended to include a quote from the ESPN scoreboard manager. The quote is from a conversation Tris10 had with him. Not sure when they plan on allowing this.

If it is done before 9/12 I want to go with the real NFL season.

 

Yeah, I'm guessing you'll only be able to choose to replicate the real NFL schedule if you're doing a full 32-team, 16-week schedule. Otherwise, that option wouldn't make much sense.

Well, if we can get the real NFL schedule than I would be all up for a 16 week season. Until that is proven to be an option though I will keep my vote at 12 weeks.

does 12 weeks means 12 games??? (for 1 i think its favorable to me, since i will only loose 12 games instead of 16 )

but i want the schedules like in the real NFL. so i'd vote for 16 weeks

I'm in agreement with the rest of you. If we can mirror the NFL season then I say 16, if not 12 sounds good.
