The sunday 10pm Matc Here's what went down, The match was probably in it's first hour of length, both teams are playing good on both sides, Mercenaries are up 2-1, and holding strong on solid defence, All of the sudden sever lag sets in, Our team can not even walk straight lines, can not even see players, In the next 3 minutes the other team can seems uneffected by the lag and scored twice. I know a few players on our team made a few statments that the lag was forced on their team, which i don't believe, but what i do know is there is no way they would habve even touched our flag let alone score twice in 3 min when the match was in it's first hour.
Just so you guys know Killing Spree won the last game 3-2 giving Killing Spree the overall win. Tris10 got mad cuz of the lag (the same lag we played through) and decided it didnt count. He is saying we have to replay this crap which is total bull. If Killing Spree is forced to replay that match I am going to quit and I can gaurantee you the rest of Killing Spree will also most likely quit.
I agree with the events as stated above. But after the smoke cleared in that huge arguement afterwards I talked to Dan and MP and asjed them to be straight up with me. Now with that being said I am the type of person that I will believe you until you lie to me. Now back to my story, I asked them if their team had used the " Stand By Glitch ". They both promptly said no and aslo stated they were getting the same lag as us. I agree with Tris in the fact that the lag might have been a bit worse for us since we could even see anybody let alone score the flag. So there ya have it. My two cents. P.S. To all whom I talked smack to......If you took offense to it I apologize and if you dished it back ( MP ) I had a blast!
PRIMO is definitely THE man... lol On a side note the game settings ought to be tested before made official league settings.
If I may add my thoughts since I was in the Sunday room. I got disconnected in the first game when i tried to shoot the guy with the bomb in our base. My guy froze and then they scored...so we can also argue that the particular point shouldnt be counted as well....Anyways, I agree with MP. The win should count...as I also couldnt walk straight due to the lag....
The game was unplayable under those conditions but I don't think it needs to be replayed. Killing spree won and thats that.....Although, There was a complete lack of sportsmanship on Killing Spree's part...mainly you MP...talking crap everytime you killed someone. And also when Killing Spree had the winning flag at their base they dropped it and picked it up numerous times just to rub the victory in which should be enough to kick whoever did that from the league in my opinion
are you sure they dropped it in front of there flag? or were they just throwing it and picking it up so they could run faster?

I would just like to point out that both teams had their fair share of shit talking. I guess Skater is the only one who had his feelings hurt. After the game Primo and I were laughing about the whole event. Not to mention nothing abusive was said. :roll: This isnt a freakn golf league, this is First Person Shooter league.
Get my facts straight?.....I had a battle rifle and was zooming in shooting at the flag carrier who stood dead in front of the flag picking it up and dropping it three or four times....and I never talked any smack during the game whatsoever...You were the only one talking smack with the exception of Primo who talked smack back to you because you did it to him.....but looking back at it now I should've talked as much smack as I could since I had the most kills out of everyone in the room
The only time we tossed the flag up and down was when both teams had the flag during that stalemate. Dan was getting bored so he just decided to toss it over and over and over. The last cap the dude was jumping and tossing (gets the flag there quicker) and then at the last moment he couldnt see the flag so I picked it up and scored. Bull shit you didnt talk any smack. Your team talked smack with the best of them. Not that it matters as the smack we were talking was non-offensive as your teammate Primo can tell you. Worst thing said was probably "take a seat"...if that hurts your feelings then...wow... Most of us were beyond frustrated as the setting were just downright horrible. I mean for the headlong match it was pretty much pointless. There was an increased bomb plant time and a decreased spawn time. This was absolutely horrible as it match the 1st game last 1 and half hours. The slayer was also a joke...first to 25 with 6 people on each team? The game was over before it even started half of the time. As for the last match...why the hell did the flag have to be home to score? Yah, like I said before maybe we ought to try PLAYING these settings before making them official.
I have to agree there needs to be some setting adjustments before the 2nd seasons is underway. I made a thread asking if there was a way to cut down on the time it takes to play an assult round and it got "mysteriously" ( :evil: ) deleted. So maybe now we can talk about it intsead of deleting it. P.S. I can wait until the stats are up because I know it will read as follows. Whos daddy are you ----------------------- The Original MP
And PS the trach talking was all cool with me. I enjoyed it actually. Its kinda hard not to get your emotions going when you pumping out 340 rounds between two hands into someones a$$.
...The only time I EVER used my mic was to tell my teamates if anyone was coming to the base and to ask which way they were going....I don't bother to talk smack...it just wastes time to click the talk button on and off while in battle.....but I could care less if you talked smack to me since I killed you more times than you did I....I was only pissed at the flag thing at the end....but life goes on....its only a game :roll:
IF THIS GETS PLAYED OVER AGAIN BECAUSE OF LAG, THEN SATURDAY NIGHT GETS PLAYED OVER and i would sure like to know about this standby glitch ... Because inour match the prophets seemed to have no lag what so ever... One team would have the flag next thing you know after a lag break, the prophets would be at their base capturing the flag... in the slayer match one team would be up in kills after the break, the prophets would be up.. Now whatever this standy glitch is I WANT TO KNOW.. because this sounds like a prettty good case for it...
I don't want the match to be played over again....Killing Spree won it....its over, nothing to lose sleep over
I honestly feel its a myth. I don't see how anyone could do this and it have no affect on their team. Also Halo automatically chooses who is the server by their record of how good their servers have run in the past. I'm not sure if that would have anything to do with it or not but maybe whoever the server was their internet slowed up for whatever reason. I feel neither room should be replayed and that the scores stay as is with the last room in the killing spree vs mercenaries match being 3-2. Its not fair to anybody and this is just an excuse.
