Commercial for Xbox 360 Unveiling Looks like the name is going to be Xbox 360 because if you watch it to the end, you see a circular logo in the sky.
also heard something about the "ring of lights" as u see in the end those green circle lights might have something to do with the new xbox 360 maybe instead of having a ring light around the eject button like they did in the first xbox maybe they'll have it on top and when u turn on the box it will glow just something i read on another site about. Pretty interesting that theyre also making they guy from lord of the rings host it so its either just coincedence or it really has some sort of ring of light.
from the suspected image of the new xbox, i wouldn't be surprised if the "360" name has something to do with the physical system. For example you could put it on any of it's side's, Hence 360 Just something i suspect.
i'm assuming in this MTV spot they are going to announce the release date for xblx 360? I mean whats the marketing smarts in doing a special 30min show about a product, but not telling the customer when they can get it. It would be nice to have a date set it stone.
 I bet you will be able to download it by tomorrow on Xbox.com Or gas up and head on over to New York  Good luck getting them to turn off the Yankee game and switching to MTV. They will beat you to death
or my fear is just add to it I wouldn't be surprised if some kinda pic of the Master Chief wasn't flashed around somewhere
I hope so, but I have a feeling it's going to be a lot of fluff and very little actual info. I think I'll DVR it so that I can fast forward through the crap. The show is only 30 minutes. Cut out commercials and you're left with 20 minutes. Take away the B and C list celebrity arrival shots and chatter and only 12-15 minutes remain. Then we have a special musical guest... down to about 8 minutes now. Figure time for a hyped intro and opening/closing credits and you've got maybe 4-5 minutes of actual meat edited from the whole night. Of the actual gameplay they'll show, I'm guessing the video will be jumping from one game to another before your eyes can truly focus, and it might be alot of that CGI game startup type of stuff that noone cares about. But even if they did talk details, I'm sure it got edited out in favor of some of the stars in attendance getting a little bit of camera time. Guess we'll find out for sure tonight.
They've already stated that they're saving the games/gameplay for E3, so I think this is just an unveiling of how it will look and maybe some specs. I can't find the link again unfortunately (I thought it was an interview on Gamestop that I had been linked to from somewhere).
