Well the Bryzgalov shutout streak has ended. Thank God. The AVs look to be playing a little better than the other nights. Hopefully this means a win for them.
Ducks have tied it for now, hopefully Bryzgalov doesn't have a really off night. If we can get this victory here tonight, should set us off good.
it's a possibility. I'm quite dissapointed, OLN blacked out here, and the game isn't being showed on any other channel. So now I'm relying on internet sites.
I thought the Ducks were going to lose tonight, but they go up 3-0 in the series with the 4-3 Overtime win, Lupul getting his 4th goal!
Yeah, Lupul wins tonight to pull ahead 3-0 in the series. Terrible play by Brisebois... what in the world was he thinking?
Yeah, that really sucks for you. I don't like OLN carrying the game regardless of this situation even. Its an extended cable package channel and the announcers are terrible. I don't know why the NHL signed with them, but that is definitely the biggest mistake that has been made in the new NHL.
Well, you can't really forget that OLN was given a month or two to get their setup down for the hockey season, where as tv stations usually get a lot more time in advance to setup the station. Yahoo! Sports summed it up best last night with the headline: Lupul 4, Avalanche 3.
I hate to say it but the Ducks cooked the Avs goose last night...I don't see much hope now. That play by Brisebois was an awful mistake.
Theodore stood on his head ( as he has all post season ) if the Av's can get one more outing like that at home to build on and squeek one win out anything is possible...
Well, we're 1 period and 3/4 away from the Western Conference Semi-Finals, now that Teemu has made it 2-1.
Down to 5 minutes remaining now, still the 3-1 lead, boy was Teemu a great pick up in the off-season. Penner is a great player, tremendous future if he stays healthy and concentrates. Him and Lupul could be the future of the Ducks.
4-1! Marchant with his brace for the night. Wow, just like the story of the '03 playoffs, into the next round, only bad part is we have that layover...caused us a sloppy Game # 1 and Game # 2 in the Finals against Joisey back in '03. Hopefully we can maintain our pace and solid play in the Western Conference Finals against either Edmonton or San Jose...preferably San Jose.
Well, GrandmasterB didn't find it too funny, but just in case we have any other Av fans on these boards, fair is equal. CLICK HERE
Well the AVs really aren't the team they used to be. Without Forsberg's creativity Hejduk and Tanguay really aren't the same players... its kind of a rebuilding era now for the AVs as I see it, really since they lost Roy. But I do think good things are on the near horizon with another goaltender coming our way from Montreal... the similarities have already been established by sports writers. Hopefully the results will be the same. Good luck to the Ducks in the next round, I am rooting for them and the Oilers in the West.
