    Little League World

Anyone watching the LLWS? I love the event. I have a son that plays LL so I may have more interest then others but it amazes me watching these kids. I am routing for the Mid-Atlantic team- Staten Island, NY. They qualified for the LLWS when a kid from there team hit a walk-off HR in the bottom of the 6th. It was a great game. They beat the NJ champion.

I am really interested this year since there is a team from Ahwatukee, AZ that is pretty good. Hopefully they can go far in the LLWS.

You guys are all forgetting about the Northwest team (Murrayhill of Beaverton, OR). They have got to be the
"cinderella" of this years series. There has not been an Oregon team in the LLWS since 1958.

lOl, That was an amazing statement Drake... "i like seeing the kids cry when they lose."

Ahwatukee is 1-1, hopefully they can get back some of their firepower... I am really disappointed I haven't been able to watch any of their games yet. Has anyone seen them play? If so do they look pretty decent, in comparison to the other LLWS teams?

    Who are people pulling for?

I am pulling for the Staten Island, NY team but they lost their first 2 games so they are close to finished. I haven't seen the AZ team but the team from GA has a player on the team that is really talented but the kid's not Dominican so there haven't been any inquiries about his age. Danny Almonte, you are remembered!!!!!!

haha little 12 year old crying is the sole reason i watch this tournament. does anyone remember the llws game on the nintendo? after you were eliminated there was a cutscene of your team balling their eyes out around their manager. god i loved that game, second best baseball game ever.
