This man was full of life..Remeber the days when he was on Conan O'Brian or Jay Leno show..good times. He has a lil boy and a 8 yr old daughter..sad..sad. Definitely it wasn't his time to go.. he will be missed
I feel so bad for him. I read that and it really hit me. That guy was one of the most entertaining men on television. R.I.P. Steve.
For what he did for a living, he was always at risk to lose his life at any moment. However that is not to say I am not saddened of the news. Truly one eccentric man.
From the story I read the stingray was buried in the sand, and he swam over the top of it and it stung him in defense. Pretty sad story though...He will be missed.
That is rough. I always enjoyed watching his show on TV. I feel very bad for his family, especially his kids. He will be missed.
what a way to go always thought it'd be a crock that got him wonder if anyone has ever died by a stingray before?
I'm sure there has been stingray incidents like this before, only we never heard of it because it probably wasnt a well known icon like Steve Irwin.
Rest in Peace Steve. I'll miss him, I also feel bad for his children. I know how it feels to lose a parent at a young age.
I always laughed at his exhuberance and joked that one day he would be killed by one of the animals but now that it has happened I feel really bad. You could see how passionate and genuine he was about his work.
Yeah, it is amazing that he was killed by an animal that has only recorded 16 other total fatalities... He will definitely be missed as a genuine and enthusiastic person.
Here's another example of how serious he was... http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/52130/Steve_Irwin_Weeps_When_a_Crocodile_Dies.html
. yeah sorry to see him go so soon.. I actually liked the guy seemed like he really enjoyed what he did. He was the only reason why i ever tuned into the discovery channel. Oh and you cant forget his aussie accent..
