So much for voting for Pedro Seriously that sucks, but he's been injured this season and the Mets survived. I think they'll be fine
The Mets owned all year without him. No worries. Even with Pedro their pitching isn't enough for the AL. All of us blue & ornage dudes know "ya gotta believe." :bnym: 20 years baby :bnym:
I was driving home from work as Omar Minaya was addressing reporters dring the Mets game. I think any hope of beating the AL in the world Series is realistically gone but baseball has more post-season upsets than all the other sports so if they make it out of the NL I wouldn't be surprised if they win it all. Ya Gotta Believe.
I think i speak for everyone that lives outside of "Yankee County" when i say, I want anyone to win but the Yankee's. The mets looked like the team to do it but this has to hurt their chances. Go.. um Det?
like mentioned above, this is a slap in the face to the Mets.. but thats all it is.. they dominated without Pedro basically all year!! only worries the Mets should have right now is waking those bats up for the post season
yeah I just heard about that too.. its a shame that the Mets are having these problems so late in the season.. They may have to count on their rookies (Maine and Pefrey) if they are gonna get anything done.. Plus home field advantage will help too.. It should be a fun month!!!!
What a dominant showing by the Mets!!!! It is going to be tough to get to the World Series no matter who they play but I like their chances. And I have tickets for the NLCS game 7 if there is one so I am psyched!!!
I was at the game last night. Crazy! My poor wife was terrified all decked out in Mets gear. I wasn't concerned until after the game when the raider nation was getting hopped up in the parking lot on Coronas. All is well. I will be at Game 2 Thursday night at Shea. Much more comfortable. :wink: :bnym:

Thanks Shush, the wierd twist of fate that it is...I actually get tickets to the World Series if the Mets go, but not if the Cardinals go.
