Cardinals. They are a team I feel can handle the pressure better of a tense situation.

I know, I was mad when Shawn Green got traded for Raul Mondesi. Now he's really good.

Delgado's time was up as a Jay, but I'm still glad he's doing well.

I am pulling for STL... It would be ironic to have STL face DET in their first WS game since they were there in 1968

That was the most amazing catch I can remember in a big game. Too bad it was for the losing side. I was in the upper deck and when Chavez made that catch the stadium was shaking. I have been to alot of games at Shea but this was the greatest game I ever attended. I was pissed leaving but after 2 hours in traffic thinking about things I can't wait till spring training. Anyway, the Cardinals were the better team and from the way their pitching has come together I think they have a chance against Detroit. I actually think they will win and I will be rooting for them because I am an NL fan. It wasn't the Mets :bdet: ESTI :bnym: to make it to the World Series but I think they will be back next year. All you Yankees fans remember 1995.

Great series great game. That was one of the best game 7s I can remember. Suppan was just money and Wainright's curve is amazing. I can't believe they way he stunned Beltran with the bases loaded.

Congrats to the :bstl: and their fans. The :bnym: gave us a hell of a season. I'm sad it's over but as always, I am a proud Mets' fan.

I have tickets to Games 3 & 4 at Shea next week. Looks like I'll be watching from my living room.

Nice job Willie! :bnym: :bnym: :bnym:

    It was a cool ending.

Really surprised Beltran wasnt sitting on the curve. He had just struckout Floyd with that pitch and you knew it was coming.

It was a great game 7. Unreal catch. I couldn't decide who to root for though. I was rooting for players on both teams. Being a Yankees fan from the 70's/80's, I'm a Willie fan. I shot pool once with Suppan so it was nice to see him have a solid game. Anyway, I couldn't decide who to root for so I just gave it my best John Kerry impersonation and flip-flopped the whole night. :D
Should be a good world series.
