This game is reminding me of the OSU/ Florida game. I think the Bears will play better than people are thinking.

I think the score didnt show the game. Indy outplayed Chigaco in every aspect.

Asides from the opening kickoff (which I missed anyways :p ) Chigaco didnt impress me at all.

I missed the opening kickoff too. I'm glad Indy won...no more "manning can't win big games" talk.

Not like it was a total blowout. 29-17 isn't horrible. The Bears were outplayed plain and simple. I do think that Peyton was very lucky his defense stepped it up in the playoffs because his 3 TDs to 7 INTs could have haunted him. He played very average but the team as a whole played great. Now lets see if they can repeat next season.

Well, they always say the championship games are usually better than the Super Bowl itself. They were right again. The Bears need a decent QB in the worst way. Congrats to the Colts and their fans here at LG.

Score didn't indicate a blow out, but the Colts CLEARLY outplayed the Bears. The Bears had something like 6 first downs at the start of the 4th Q or something lol...

I really couldn't care who won but I like Manning and respect him as a player. I was rooting for the Colts because I wanted Peyton to get his ring. I don't think I would have given him the MVP though he would have been #2 on my list. I think Rhodes success on the ground was a big factor in way Manning had the success he did. 21 carries for 113 yards against the Bears is remarkable. Add the 77 yards Addai had and you're talking close to 200 yards on the ground. Who would have believed that? Ok, besides you MP. :)

On a side note, I can respect Lovie Smith sticking with Grossman but it should be painfully obvious by now that he's not a good QB. I told several guys that Grossman's early success was b/c he had a stellar defense, reminding me a lot of Trent Dilfer. Of course, Dilfer would take it as a shot because unlike Grossman, Dilfer didn't turn the ball over. He wasn't flashy and didn't put up big numbers, but he mades throws, managed the game, and didn't make too many mistakes. He wasn't the reason they lost. Grossman was the reason the Bears lost games at times. In fact, he was the reason they almost lost other games (vs Arizona) but again, the defense stepped up and saved the day. However, I don't think the Bear's answer is Brian Griese either. He's definitely a step up from Grossman but they'll need to start their search for their "quarterback of the future" in Chicago soon.

I read an article on ESPN.com. One guy said Grossman should have got the MVP trophy and the new Caddy. Grossman gave that game away. Despite the Bears D playing kinda crappy the whole game, they were still in it until Rex made it Christmas in February. I'm glad Peyton got his at long last. He really is a great QB. In all fairness though, I don't know that Griese could have won that game either.

I know for a fact that thousands of people...hundreds of thousands of people cheer for the Colts and Peyton Manning on a regular basis.

Meanwhile, only 3 people give a damn about the dumbass things you say.

lol the Colts won, get over it. No one was here last year saying how the only reason the Steelers won was because the refs gave the game to them. Which is true by the way :)
