Upadate you guys. I got a form off www.xbox.com website for data transfer. You fill out the serial number of your current xbox and you fill out the serial number of the Elite and you give them your purchase date and you fax to somewhere in Indiana. I recieved the cable with instructions and a cd within 3 days. I could not believe how fast I got that cable. Now you need to hook the old HD to the elite and hook the cable through the USB port on the BACK of the machine and not the front like the directions say. Then hook the other end to the new hard drive off the elite and it takes roughly about an hour. More or less depending on how much needed to be transferred. I had 7 gb left on my old one.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks
    Troy.

Sorry Tris10 just now seeing this. Umm Yeah I guess it is when a game disc is in the tray and playing. I guess I never really paid much attention to it.
