Hopefully Montreal won't feel sorry for the soft Flyer team and Brisebois won't score for them, and Price will actually catch a few routine shots. They were talking on Sportscentre, the panel of analysts, and they were saying how Philly was going to come out hitting Montreal like Boston tried to do and wear them out. Montreal out-hit them. The Flyers are soft. Their number 2 powerplay is the main reason they are in the playoffs.
Soft? I consider most of the Flyers team tougher than all the players on Montreal the one exception I can think of is Komirsarek Talk about number 2 powerplay got the Flyers to the playoffs.....How about the Canadiens getting in because of their number 1 powerplay
Buddy, the huge difference is Montreal didn't sneak in the playoffs. They were the first overall seed in the East. And Hatcher and Smith are the only really tough guys on Philly. Downie takes cheap, blindside shots at every player and catches them off guard, so it looks as if he's really tough.
The beginning of the year just overrated the Flyers toughness, when they kept getting suspended for ridiculously dirty hits.
I don't think Downie is tough at all And lets put the Canadiens in the Atlantic Division and see them come out with the 1st overall seed
Hahaha come on buddy For years the Northeast Division was the best. Toronto always had a competitive team, Ottawa was always good and Buffalo had a few great years. Boston was decent too. If you take a look back at the recent playoff set-ups, the Northeast division usually had 3, if not 4 teams in the playoffs. Just this year, Montreal's young guns and great powerplay, with timely goaltending, got them the number 1 seed. Let's see, Montreal, Ottawa, Boston for the NE, with Buffalo just missing them. Atlantic had 4. No one knew Philly would all of a sudden be a playoff team after being the worst in the leauge, and Washington....well haha They were at one point last in the East.
For years it was the best?? Years before does not matter this year...I would much rather play the Senators, Bruins, Sabres, and Leafs than Penguins, Devils, Rangers, and Islanders 8 times this season
Real life penalties in the NHL are almost as bad as EA consistency... well ok not that bad but you get my point Hipcheck anyone?
Here is the Official Rule... When the puck made contact with the stick the puck was below the crossbar, the entire stick wasn't but that doesn't matter according to the rule... So please, try again... Here's a link to the League Rule Book in case anyone wants to look it up themselves... http://www.nhl.com/ext/0708rules.pdf Philly had the weakest goals of the playoffs last night, no skill required whatsoever... All Philly can do is take cheap shots like they pretty much have all year...
stop cryin , philly lost and they suck now go sit somewhere and make excuses up. go watch this *flyers dedication* video i made maybe you will stop crying lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCOrt5QOxJU
get out you cant say hes a bad fighter. Brashear even said before the series he has mad respect for him b/c he'll drop them with anyone. put this one in your awesome video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GOdznG5CLo
nice vid u had a lot of time to spend on it cause u have no team to watch in the playoffs huh u now wit Atalanta sucking this year
wow flyers fans relaxed. Flyers got 2 lucky goals while mtl hit 2 posts which could have easily gone in and you said were lucky??? And you dont think that the knee on knee is a penalty, come on Richards got beat and took him down. No one out played each other but dont say that mtl had the luck and the refs side cause they didnt.
Im not going to lie that kovalev goal was deffiently high sticking freeze it when hes stick hits the puck and it is over the crossbar
