Nice ride. Not much of a sport bike guy myself, prefer Harleys but it's a nice looking bike. Before I got my Harley I was actually thinking about buying a Nicky Hayden replica Honda. I doubt I'd ever ride it as much as the Harley but he's from Louisville Kentucky (About a hour from my house). My family's big flat track fans and that's what Nicky and his brothers started out on.
Thanks Jeff. Those Nicky Hayden Replicas are sweet! I am a huge sports bike fan, and cant see myself riding anything else. They just fit me better for my size. I dont like riding a huge street cruiser. The CBR is so light and easy to ride, thats why I got it, plus the price was right and it saves on gas
Thats why I got it. i figured with the price of gas, it would pay for it self in a year. $10 to fill with super unleaded
Is this your first bike Demon? I don't know if it's the gas prices or the fact that I'm paying more attention since I started riding but I seem to notice alot more bikes on the road then what I remember seeing 2-3 years ago.
2nd street bike. My first was an '02 Yamaha FZR600. So basiclly its my first real nice street bike. I have always had dirt bikes and 4 wheelers though. Still got my '03 Limited Edition Raptor 660 I do notice alot of riders here too. When you're riding and you see anoher rider, do they all wave at you? Everyone I see on a bike always waves when I pass them up or nods there head.....
When I bought my Honda 400ex, I was really close to getting a Raptor 660. Loved the look of em. Don't get out on the ATV as much now, drive 60miles a day to work now. So sold my Chevy Trailblazer and bought one of those fancy new hybrids. So now have nothing to pull a trailer with. As for waving, yeah almost everyone around here waves. What kinda surprised me was that Harley groups around here actually wave at the sport bikers. I didn't really expect that from the old grumpy Harley riders. Just wondering, you guys got a helmet law Demon? Here in Indiana we don't. Seems like most sport bikers around here wear nice full face helmets. Seems to be the Harley group that wears the half helmet or no helmet at all.
Exatcly the same here. No helmet law, but the harley guys dont wear them and the sportbike riders wear the nice full face helmets. I got a nice fullface flat black helmet with skulls painted on the side coming on Wed  Same goes for the waving, the harley guys even wave at me too....its really strange, you'd thing they wouldnt like some punk kids like us on sportbikes....guess its a riders respect thing
I bought my first bike on Thursday.. an Old 81 Honda GL500.. My truck is killing me on Gas..Had to do something..
I hear ya nos, 'tis the season, especially in Texas, ride 11 months out of the year :mrgreen:

Very nice. And Im jealous too. I cant really get one here in Los Angeles without getting killed by a foreigner. I love the black and red!
