Did anyone see the Kimbo Slice fight that was on CBS last Saturday? I Tivo'd and finally watched it. That was the worst cauliflower ear I've ever seen. That thing was flapping around like a misplaced testicle.
Yeah, I saw it too. In my eyes the fight was stopped too early. With the profile that they want for Kimbo, I'm sure the ref was told to stop it at the earliest possible moment.

Not only that, ti amazed me that the ref stepped in when he did...especially after Kimbo received about 25 unanswered elbows and punches to the head the round earlier and the ref just let them go. I hate Kimbo and is stupid gangsta image!! Leave that for musicians.

PLEASE, NO ONE POST RESULTS OR COMMENTS ABOUT THE FIGHTS until after the PPV is over in North America. Since the event is in London England and at 3pm est our time, the results will be on the internet before the PPV here is even aired. I don't want to know anything that happened before I see it at night.
Just to re-iterate :mrgreen: I don't know why they can't show it Live here though. That would only be early afternoon so it'd be worth it. I'd understand if it were 3am here or something like that. I'm not paying for it anyway and will have to see the results on the Internet, but my point is I think it should be live. I'm one of those people that can't get into a sport unless it's live...regardless if I know the outcome or not. Can't explain it, but it just feels like the outcome is already decided to me

Hey Xeno, I'm not sure if this forwned upon when people put their picks out there, but is there any way you can explain the Alves pick? If its just hate for Matt Hughes, then preach on I hear ya but I really see zero ways he can lose this fight.
No it's not frowned on. I will admit I am influenced by a little dislike for Hughes (sort of how I am picking Vera for a like of the fighter) but mostly and rationally I feel he has showed a steady decline and I am banking on the fact he may have lost the intensity to train. If Alves can keep it on the feet he'll destroy Hughes with his fast strikes and if it goes to the ground his subs are probably better too. Hughes needs to just wrestle...that's his only hope in my opinion.
