Cedric was waived today after his second arrest in 5 weeks. I am happy. I don't think he is that great and his recent behavior is turning him into another Ricky Williams. This leaves the door wide open for rookie running back Matt Forte (6' 2", 216 lbs) to win the starting job. I have a feeling it will be him as I doubt Adrian Peterson or Garrett Wolfe will get the nod. This was a good move by Chicago and I am happy. The question is who will pick Benson up now?
I'm guessing there's a typo or that RB will get killed :mrgreen: I like to see teams do this though. I wish more players were punished for this type of behavior. But some team will pick him up I'm sure. A cheap backup if anything.
No, there is no typo. He is 6' 2" (6 foot 2 inches). Benson was only 5' 11", Forte is a few inches taller.
So I am curious if any team will grab him. He might be a good back up, he played well behind Thomas Jones. Maybe Dallas has room for another player with an arrest history, lol.
Or Oakland, they seem to be picking up everyone's castoffs. Maybe have another set of legs behind Fargas and McFadden.
