    Complete Madden '09 Game Colts vs. Vikes

    Two EA designers played a head to head game to give us a glimpse of what improvements they've made.

    A few things that I liked:

    1. On the fly subs
    2. Graphics looks a bit better
    3. Game speed seems to be reaching last gen's
    4. Collinsworth sounds great

    Things I didn't like:

    1. Radio guy was lame, so is this year's play by play guy. Almost fell asleep watching the videos
    2. Crowd sounds dead
    3. OL/DL interaction. Watch the videos closely and you'll see what I mean
    4. Presentation is still lacking

    Play by Play guy is terrible, how is it possible they can drop the ball on such a simple thing. Why not have Buck call the game?

    I made it to the end of the 1st QTR and was thinking to myself.... "self wtf are you doing?" I did see some cool animations, but I will wait until they release the demo and I can play it....

    anyone know if the Audibles are based on the formation or they still the same for every play?

    they will most likely be what you set them to and not predefined audibles, I don't see why they would take that out of the game

    I'm not sure, but I'm guessing Giotto is asking if you can set them differently based on the formation of the called play.

    They are formation based but the question I have is does the game determine which plays out of that formation are audibles or will you be allowed to designate what plays will be the audibles out of every formation.
