Hey guys, Well i finally got the green light to show and talk about sections of the new 2k sports online leagues. There are about a hundred or so new features added to the online leagues. Some of the most important is how we link videos into the online leagues. Here is a small sample of some of the new features. More to come guys
Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Candiens and then the Thrashers and Ducks? how did you go about choosing your teams tris lol? But all of this stuff is getting me amped. I have played NHL 2k9 demo for like four hours so far. Im doin it now also. The online aspect is looking great also tris.
lol i sim'd the entire season guys. I wanted to test the "clinched playoff spot" script so that my test
lol when you goto the sim game option in the game, you can say "sim but give the win to" ... so, i did that lol
Man 2k Hockey looks like its going to be great this year.....going to be hard to choose between the 2 games
Am I the only one not really all that excited about this? No disrespect meant towards Tris. The leagues look great and all but isn't it pretty much just the same online leagues since like 2k5 but now with included highlights? And I'm guessing it's single play highlights and not full highlights of games? Kinda like EA with NCAA or Madden? Granted, it's a cool feature and all but I'd rather the on ice product look and feel as good as EA before they worry about leagues. And if they are gonna worry about leagues, I'd rather us have full online franchise (minors, free agents, multiple seasons) then to just have a fancier league homepage.
Doing this takes NONE of the developers time away from them and their game. So why not put something like that in? this is going to be implemented into pretty much all future 2k games. Now if this was to hurt developer time, then you got a problem, but it doesnt so it dont.
