yeah initially they werent gonna sign him. They said they offered a contract to him and mccarty and whoever took it first was going to get the nod. But they ended up taking both. And mccarty doesnt really fight in the NHL anymore. ahhh well, i guess if you win games their is no need to fight. Although it is fun to watch. . .

 

Josh Gratton took on Laraque last night. Took some balls in my opinion.

 

And got dismantled in three punches. We need Riley back on the ice.

Lucic is a pussy but i would take him in the Habs anyday

 

I have watched Lucic for around 5 years now, He used to tool on ppl in the WHL REALLY BAD to the point ppl wouldnt fight him in his last year i Vancouver for the Giants!!!

He definatly is no pussy!!

As for this WHOLE Habs vs Bruins thing.... Bruins made it 2 in a row last night on a fluke SO goal, adn we ALL know VANCOUVER is the team to beat lol

Well that should be easier now that we have Sandman between the pipes(HOPEFULLY NOT FOR THE 2-3 MONTHS that is rumored AROUND VANCOUVER!!)

BOTTOM LINE: ANY ONE OF US WOULD LIKE TO HAVE LUCIC ON OUR TEAM, He plays hard , He cans skate/pass/score/HIT and fight, He is a great all around player, and will be for the next 10 years

based on what? because he wont fight laraque at the wrong time? lucic is valuable on the ice, not sitting for 5 minutes for laraque, if the time becomes right he will absolutely fight laraque. Last year he backed down from nobody, but there is more to lucic's game than just being a dumb goon like laraque. laraque is pure trash and always has been.

since montreal didnt win the game all you have to fall back on is "lucic is a pussy".....he was busy scoring and making plays to win the game first....i bet if the bruins were up by a few he may have obliged.

 

Julien did the right thing by giving Lucic the no-go. Next game, and if it's the right time, Lucic and Laraque will go for sure.

 

If Lucic is so valuable why did he fight Komisarek then ? He sat 5 minutes for this right ?

 

Lucic fought him then because the Bruins were winning 5-1, hence the right time.

 

what bruins said....what advantage is it to get in a fight with a goon when the game is close and your trying to win a road game? Now if shawn thornton wanted to go thats a different story...shawn thornton plays on your 4th line, not your first.
