Im testing a script for the 2k leagues (NHL,NBA & MLB) that a commish could sign a free agent player from a team (or even the roster) and put that player on a team. So lets say your in a 6 team league and you wanted a player from a team thats not in your league, This tool will do that for you. To test it, i put Getslaf on the leafs and pronger and Kovalchuk on the rangers, Stagg and i played a game and it worked fine! To make sure your commish doesn't try anything sneaky, if a "free agent" is signed, it creates a news story that every can see. This is something I've waited for for a long time. This will be an awesome addition to the game. What would (if any) be the restrictions to signing a player?
Only restriction is we have to have their attribute values in the database for the roster version your league is using. So really the sky is the limit and its up to the commish to control
