Pleasure. I'm Crosby and I'm $8M. I run this interview program every Tuesday with myself and a guest that I interview that week. I've been doing this for 15 years and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that you never know who or what is gunna gunna walk through that door. Sometimes they're serious and sometimes they're funny. This week's guest is @jdj71 - GM of Grand Rapids (sounds like a theme park ride) Let's get started. Q: 8.3% on the PP so far is 3rd worst - granted just 11 or 12 games in but in your opinion, what isn't clicking for you guys so far on the PP? How do you fix it? A: Funny you ask about the PP as we just discussed it. It definitely cost us one game and probably a second. Not going to really make any major change though, we played some very good goalies that stole a couple of games from us so far. Q: Are teams panicking after rough starts to the season on the trade front? - And are teams more willing to deal guys now rather than after bidding or is it still a deadlock? A: Trades??? I always am willing to listen, but making a move for no reason could cost your team chemistry. You need to be able to play as a unit more than a week to gain confidence in each other's playstyles. Q: Being a GM can be a grind. Does it sometimes feel like a second job, especially when a team doesn't get off to a great start? A: Being a GM is definitely a job. That being said, it is always fun to try and run anything and put all of the players that you have in the best possible position to succeed. And yes, we are off to a little slower start than we had hoped but you have to keep positive and move on. That's this week's $8M Interview. Another huge shoutout for the legend jdj71 for doing this with me and stay tuned next week for more content. And remember kids, don't forget to water your thumbs before bed. Peace.
The proper way, is to pour the cereal, then milk, eat what's there, then add cereal to the remaining milk, eat that, rinse repeat, pound back that last bit of sugar milk afterwards. Any other way....GTFO
