Dear media guru, @tsibs88

You have done a huge job for LG, for a long time. And something I have yet to see anywhere is a thank you.

Thank you for being awesome, and so motivated to cover the AHL, from start to end with media. I know you must have an extremely difficult task with the people in your group always changing, or dropping like flies. Yet you keep marching on, and that is amazing.

What you do, and those who have helped you, keeps the league entertaining, and the players even more interested when most would just play their games and that’s that. Without your coverage I think the league would fall short on the scale of intensity it has, and the enjoyment that can truly be had here, beyond the daily crap that we all see in the shout box and threads.

You’ve stuck it out and been here, for the playoffs even when your team is not involved. You helped with the ASG series, and continue to push for a better place for us all to play our hearts out.

You are one of the most supportive people in LG, ever guiding the clueless if they ask. Backing your friends up, and pointing out the good, when all they can see is the bad.

Thank you for being a pillar of the LG Community, and know that some of us, truly do appreciate all that you do.

You deserve a little recognition, no; a lot of recognition, for the incredible amount of time, effort and heart you pour into this site and game.

First of all well said Teal and Tsibs you definitely make this league alot intresting - entertaining its acually really awesome to watch your shows I never missed one always good to hear my name in there as well haha but ya anyways thanks for everything Tsibs keep er up and good luck in season 8!!

Thank you Teal! I really dont know what to say except that you once again show the class and caring that I have always seen from you. Your words mean more to me than all the views in the world! It means a lot when someone I respect in this league shows the kind of appreciation you do for the media. You are there every week supporting us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Billy, you have been a great supporter of the show all season. It means a lot to those of us who have been dedicated to providing a media product that is interesting and something you want to listen to all season. Thanks bud and good luck next season!

Before I knew Sibs was stepping away, I got excited that after using this last season to get a lot of my crap together, I could perhaps join him this coming season. So when I reached out to him and found out, it was disappointing. Not that Sibs himself is ever disappointing, but that I would’ve been a season too late. Ya know, if he would’ve had me.

But like the true gentleman that he is, he offered to lend his expertise on things in case I tried to move forward with media. Because he cares. He knows how much the media is appreciated by the community.

I have never played on the Xbox side or in any of the other leagues here on LG. However, it doesn’t matter. Even if I had, I would still be hard pressed to name anyone who has been a better member of the LG community.

It may not be for LG, and it may not be soon/often, but I’ll catch ya around bud

 

Sibs is imho the best thing to happen to this league . There's not much more to say . The respect I have for this guy is unreal. Sibs your the fucking man . Don't change And keep making lg great .

 

I've had the tremendous pleasure of being invited onto the show to round out the end of the season & playoffs. Tremendous person to work with and I've had a ton of fun being involved. It is a tremendous amount of talent and work the Sibbsy puts into this and he deserves every media award until the end of time.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing @tsibs88 since season 2 when him and the Moran brothers started doing the show. All I can say is that everyone should thank this man for all the time and effort he puts in week after week. I’ve been honored to be a guest on the show numerous times over the past few seasons. We can all agree how boring last season was without sibs doing media, please don’t ever leave us again buddy!!

I'll never forget when sibs was calling me the wrong name for an entire game while Broadcasting during a Calder final game s3. With the fact that i was management that season Sibs showed me how irrelevant I actually am in NHL. Have a good summer off and see you back for NHL19.
