    So whats gonna happen with adding Vegas to the NHL but not adding a farm team for them?

    Hopefully staff will add a team to the AHL to be the STL affiliate, since the Chicago Wolves are now the Vegas affiliate in real life. (Vegas will be the Wolves "primary" affiliate, but will also affiliate with STL.) Something may change in the AHL in the off-season too:

    "Blues prospects that won't report to the Chicago Wolves will be reporting to other organizations, which are yet to be announced."

    we could always bring back the Peoria Rivermen for 1 season. They used to be St. Louis' affiliates back in the day. That's until St. Louis actually confirms who they will have as AHL affiliates for future Seasons.
