I just want to take time to make sure owners and players interested know what their options are. This is posted in the Rule Book & in the management interest thread but I notice some people who may not have taken the time to read. From the rules..... What this means is, If an owner & a player agree to this position prior to the draft the player is restricted to the AHL. If the team (owner) waits until the draft or drafts a player interested in the position. That player can play in the NHL while running the AHL team. *If you still have any questions feel free to ask or get clarification here.
Question asked... Answer: No, because if the player is restricted to the AHL and the AHL draft will just draft out the balance of players and may not be complete rounds anyways.
