AHL Pre Season Tournament (4-8 teams.)

Hey guys, since their will be no ahl preseason, id like to run a tournament Thursday or Friday night after AHL bidding. (or both nights.)

This tournament will consist of 4-8 teams with a minimum of 3 games and a maximum of 5 games. In order for this to work we will need 4,6 or 8 teams to enter.

Now the main purpose of this tournament is to figure out lines d pairings and to see how your new players play. We recommend trying to use as many players as you can on your ahl roster for this tournament. Keep in mind you still are trying to win though . *As a last resort play players out of there position, but if possible play players in their normal position

This tournament should take no more than 2 and a half hours to complete. Game times would be 9:00,9:40,10:20 and 11:00 at night all eastern times. I will determine the schedule once we know how many gm's have signed their teams up.

Tiebreakers for this tournament will be head-head result vs the other team if 3 way tie Goal Differential.

I see this caught a good amount of interest, if teams still want to sign up i will set up a second tournament for them. Ill make this groups schedule in a bit. Looks like it'll be on Friday April 29th.

 

I'll help you keep track if you need. Just make two divisions. Winner of each plays esch other. No stats, play who you want.
