Is there going to be any sort of try out or
is it all about who you know or who knows you????

We made a ton of progress tonight, actually. I messaged Tris about it, and he's in the process of creating a separate forum especially for this. It will officially be called the "LG Frozen Four" which means there are four teams. We're still ironing out other details, but it will likely start during the Calder Cup finals week and run a few weeks into the offseason. Obviously, that means that the draft will be sometime during the playoffs. Other details will come out soon.

Anyways, sit tight for now and spread the word as much as possible (since not everyone checks the site, not everyone will see this). We'll let you know more details when the new forum is ready and other details are decided.

Since its 4 are you going Canada 1/2 vs USA 1/2, or just 4 drafted teams. Are CHLers/those currently not in the league (hi magic) going to be included.

 

Probably 4 international teams (USA, Canada, Russia, Sweden). As for signups, it'll most likely be that as long as you're on an AHL or CHL roster at the time you sign up you'll be eligible.

 

Don't worry, I'll be management of Team USA. You're welcome for stepping up

 

So with int'l teams (Sweden, Russia) you're just going to fill management at random (for better lack of a word) I take it.

 

Not necessarily at random; we went around and asked a few of the top AHL GMs and players to do it, and it's pretty much filled. I don't think you guys will be disappointed

 

I meant random more that in the sense I'm fairly certain nobody plays their LG game from Russia or Sweden

 

Can I play?

 

Better off with Finland instead of Russia. Just a thought since every now and then they show up in a club game. Probably the more legit jerseys than any other international team.
